Alex goes through his tips for making money on PrizePicks. He explains the various strategies that can be used to profit long-term on this DFS player prop platform.
PrizePicks is a fantasy (DFS) site similar to Underdog Fantasy. They offer player prop entries. Alex explains that 5 and 6 pick flex plays are mathematically optimal. Two pick and three pick power plays are highly unprofitable.
Alex explains the importance of going through the payout structure on PrizePicks. A 5 or 6 flex is equivalent to getting -119 odds on a sportsbook. Alex uses the OddsJam sports betting software to find value on PrizePicks. He explains the importance of remaining disciplined when making money on PrizePicks. Follow data and not your gut!

By the looks of it what you just put together down from Kelly to matisse everything in green didn’t hit except for James harden assists under 10.5 which I wouldn’t take the chance on that over either but you definitely put together player prop bets that had nothing but the plus money that hit yesterday so looks like you should try picking the plus money instead of what you see favorited for the one time for the most part at least I know I will.

It looks like you’re using the default settings except just one sportsbook. When I do this, I see nowhere as many props as you got (I get one or two). A: what am I doing wrong? B: what are your settings? C: does this work the same for underdog?

It probably was the time of the day. Turn off recommended filters and check it out. I just set max odds to +190

You might hit 54% right on 1 pick, but the odds are not the same on 5 combined picks?? The odds of all 5 hitting together is much lower. I think this is why people say 2 bets combined are better…Better odds. Yes pay out isn’t the same, but should pay pay off more often. Am I wrong??
My math aint mathing but I guess its because in order to break even on 2 mans (using 1 unit for every bet), you need to win 1 out of 3 slips, and that's where my math ends lol. Hes a mathematician from Stanford so Im going to trust and try this out.
Trust me 5 and 6 pick flex are way more optimal than 2 pick. The only time you should ever do a 2 pick is if you somehow found two plays that were like -150 fair odds (very rare). 5 and 6 pick are mathematically optimal
Bro you’re not grasping the concept. It’s like investing where you take a risk:reward higher than 1:1 or 1:2. You’ll hit less but make more. You’re looking at win percentage, you gotta look at EV percentage. That’s where you make your money.

5/6 is better odds because of the payout structures. If you do the math it proves 5/6 has the best odds at -118.37 or so
