They are nice memories, and sometimes we forget the headache they brought us as well! I bought one first week of October it was delivered to me by maple motors! I took it to the shop to have anything done to it to make it cruise worthy. November 12 th this past Sunday I went out to start it up as it was warming up I taped the ecelerator to bring down the idol, and I heard a loud pop and flames shot into where my foot was on. I grabbed the fire extinguisher and flames were growing the fire extinguisher didn’t put it out. Lost the vehicle that I had for a little over a month. I share this to give people the other side of back in the days! I give my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ all the Praise and Glory for just the car was lost and I m here writing and telling you about it for so many times in my life He could have taken me but He spared me. Enjoy your memories and hug your family and have a blessed Thanksgiving.
There is always a spectator in the stand but never does he get in the ring never taking risks but has a sarcastic comment to those who are in the thick of battle but never ever getting in the ring of battle. I think the word is Cowards!
I am certain although I do not know either of You. I imagine both are good Men. I definitely agree with the grace of Our SAVIOR JESUS. Sorry about Your car. As You know cars can definitely be replaced and You Sir can't be replaced. So very Thankful, You are able to share Your testimony. We all have opinions that We share and some We agree with and welcome while others not so much, it's nice to hear from others even if they are different. Thank You to anyone who will consider mine here, when reading this.
Nice looking Fairlane. I have to say that slack in the steering should not be explained as being typical just because it's manual and not power steering, both can have slack for the same reasons , commonly people never think to adjust the steering box , which usually can eliminate the slack ,and if that doesn't do it , look at the ball joints, tie rod ends, idler arm , etc .
This was my car i traded in on another classic. Anyone interested in it it's a solid car. All the brakes are new. I think it needs the rear drums turned. The rear brakes seemed to vibrate out of the box. Motor is solid, transmission is solid, just a good ol cruiser. It is not a HiPo 289 but it's had some upgrades. Enjoy!
@@chhook949 I'm sure I could have gotten more in a private sale. The thing is it would have taken quite some time to find the new owner. Maple Motors agreed to the price I gave them for it and I got a new toy. Was a good transaction.
Whoever buys this one at this price is buying it right. Add a few goodies later on (while driving it), take care of some minor finishing and it's a driver to enjoy! And, the driver's door closes solid (sorry Nick, I had to get that in...😉) Keeps the wheels turning! p.s., how difficult would it be to install power steering? Peace.
I must honestly say, U ALWAYS HAVE REALLY BEAUTIFUL CARS ON YOURE LOT..... SUPER NICE!!!! COOL VIDEOS BTW.... BUT WHEN U DO GET DOWN ON IT A LITTLE WHEN U GOOSE EM, GOTTA HOLD THAT PEDAL TO THE METAL JUST A LITTLE LONGER... AT LEAST 0-60MPH HAMMERED ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE FLOOR.... Blue Oval answer with Fairlane was to compete with Plymouth Belvedere & Chevy 2 Nova all three where made for quarter mile super amazing clean 65 Fairlane
@@PBuzay1 would if I could but social security is not that secure. It's just nice to see the best cars ever made. As for tesla 😆 I'd buy anything off this lot any day
Again who is painting all these cars. I got massive work for any that doesn’t use a roller or rattle can. Here in PA It’s either 15K pristine or Earl Scheib have a nice day. Backed up a year or I’ll be right over. Nothing in between. Got two Oldsmobile’s rhet ta go. $13,900 is a good number for that Ford. Needs a little TLC but I’m pretty sure there not making anymore of them. Plus he’s got a movie.

Looks like your shop didn't do a very good job
You miss the point. Being self absorbed is pride and before destruction is pride.

Very nice car with what appears to be a modified 289. Possible cam swap. Cool hood with twin scoops.
