- In 1914, a major global conflict broke out known as WW1. For over a year, Estonia and its islands and islets became a battleground between the already exhausted Germany and Russia. This video will go through the entire conflict in Estonia from the tip of the Ösel island to the German town of Narva.
All data is from Wikipedia and the National Archives of Estonia.

This video goes through a series of WW1 events in Estonia that led from the first landings on the approaches of Ruhnu up to the German occupation of the entire region. For over a year, Estonia and its islands and islets became a battleground between the already exhausted Germany and Russia. After the Germans succeeded in capturing the majority of the islands and inflicting a devastating defeat for Russia in the Battle of Moon Sound Russia suffers a revolution and the resistance to the Germans collapses.

Also, at 4:47, you showed the Autonomous Governorate of Estonia, but its borders were enlarged by then - it also included modern Southern Estonia.
