thank you. It was really helpful! I did not expect to get an idea for the portfolios that I really struggle with putting together. Thank you for the review!
Such cool resources for the Middle Ages! I’ve been looking at many of the same ones for The Kind Kingdom next year so it was great to see inside many of these. ❤️
Thank you for sharing this video! I’m starting SOTW with my 3rd grader and looking forward to it. Using construction paper to weave is such a great idea!
Thank you for sharing all your resources! How do you manage discussions while listening in the car? Do you pack the map work and coloring pages or do it when you get home?
When we did it in the car we just listened and discussed it. We did not use the activity book just the audio primarily. I kept history simple the previous two years. We used our globe at home when locating the places we were learning about. Hope this answers your question 🙂
Can you share some links to some of the RUclips playlists you mention in the video please? I am not a RUclips expert and would appreciate a better description of how to access these. Also, do you think we need to necessarily start with Volume One and work our way through to Four, or could you just choose a Volume of interest? Thank you!
Hello! I thought I posted the video links🙁 you should be able to search "Story of the World" and you will get lots of playlists pop-up. I like to go chronologically order but you can do it in any order😁
Can you point me to the SOTW RUclips videos that go along with these books? I’m starting vol. 1 with my kids this year and would love to incorporate some videos. Are there specific channels dedicated to this or just random videos?
This year we do math and language arts 4 days a week and I do history 2 times a week, rotating science and history every quarter(9 weeks) I hope this helps. I explain more of my routine in my recent planning video😁

Thank you for sharing this. You were by far the best video I've seen pertaining to this subject.
You are too kind
We love SOTW. We just started it his year, but it’s going sooo well!

Thanks!!! 👍🏼
Ohhh.....did you do a video on SOTW volume 1? I'd love to see your go along book choices.
When we did our history last year we just listened to the audio book. We didn't really read any books for that time period.

There are playlist on RUclips if you search Story of The World volume 1 Ancient Egypt. I hope you can find it, if not let me know.
I am struggling to fit in language and maths and history etc etc. Trying to offer a 'feast' but struggling. How do you structure your time please?

Do you have any of the you tube links?
Sorry I can't seem to find them for you...maybe the playlist was deleted...?
