I’ll give you two dollars for it now and you can double your purchase price? Seriously, great job and I’m always happy when people fix things instead of destroying them and creating more trash for the landfill.
I love what U did. Looks great I have a 2003 23ft HiLo travel trailer that I can't find the fuse box. There are a few difference in mine and yours my stove & sink R where the table is and the table is where the couch is, my couch was beside the fridge where UR fridge is. Please help my air conditioning went out and also my fridge is a heat wave 7days ago and still haven't found the fuse box I found the circuit breaker R side of fridge but no fuses. Thank you for any help I can get. Kim
I know this is a 6 year old video, but there’s a 2001 HI-LO for sale I’m interested in, and it’s 3 hours away. What’s your opinion of the overall quality of build of them? I’m familiar with the common problems of most RV’s, like flimsy stapled together inferior materials, and questionable craftsmanship. I hope you see this soon, I sure don’t want to buy another money pit, and I figure you’ve seen up close what’s behind paneling in it. What caused all that water damage in the first place? Thanks, and you did a BEAUTIFUL job !
They are built like a tank, very heavy duty frames and heavy for the size. Most leaks come from the roof not being taken care of and the windows needing to be removed and recaulked. Watch for leaks around windows by pushing on the paneling same with the ceiling. Floors normally not a problem. DO NOT WALK ON THE ROOF NOT MADE FOR THAT! Make sure the lift system works and check the cables underneath. Remember your looking at a 20 some year old camper!
@@19garyk52 Thank you. As it turns out the owner of it finally sent some pictures of the roof, and it had been resealed, and had a lot of black mildew around all the edges, broken bath roof vent, and random sealant tape, and wallpaper wrinkled under windows with black looking water stains. I won’t buy it because I don’t want a mildew project again, already sold one of those headaches. I sure the hell wish people would just be honest about water leaks the FIRST time you call them when you’re hours away. They all play dumb with “not that I’m aware of” answers. I think we’re going to have to just bite the bullet and just pay the price for a preowned Casta or Scamp. P.S. the guy DID walk on the roof!😣😖🤬🤯
Just bought 2001 hilo tow light.. what's next. ? Ac doesn't work, not sure what else needs repair. How do i get it inspected.. parked it in ontario, socal
lefty you need to give more info like year and length and model number. Then go to this website and join then ask, people are willing to help www.hilotrailerforum.com/
Beautiful job. Love the ceiling jig. You make it look easy and I know it is not.
Excellent jigs and fixtures. Especially like the use of carpet strips. Competent and very creative.
million..... "we are not worthy bows" toward you. more than an amazing job. Awesome craftsmanship
Looks like a million bucks! I wouldn't have even known where to start. It's better than new. Congratulations.
So great you gave a Hi-Lo new life.
I would love to know how you began the work to rebuild your wall. We have the same issues if not worse.
Im about to rebuild a hilo to mount on top of my skoolie build.
Thanks for the inspiration

Hi, I want to buy one for $1,350.00. The top won't go up. Sound like a motor problem. How do i get the top up? Where is the motor located?

Now that it has been awhile, how has your choice of glues worked out?
Nothing has come loose I'm happy with the glues I used
I guess for $1 it might be worth it. How did you get it home?
It was towable
How long is the cable for the lift
There are 4 cables, one at each corner and they are all different lengths and tie into the ram under the unit.
Where did you source your wall paneling?
the place I bought mine is closed here is the name of the paneling ALL SEASONS VINYL PANELModel # 67407
That looks awesome
How tf did you get that for a dollar?!? Sell me it for $2 I’ll take it..
What is that annoying sound? 😝
What annoying sound? my voice
@@19garyk52 No not your voice. lol. Don't know what the sound is -- it repeats.
