Making my daughter a period bag for her first! A cute bag with everything you may need plus a heating pad just for her! My mom didn't talk to me let alone supply me what I needed. My daughter will be taken care of..... take care of yours too.

What your body is doing during this time is something special. You should feel special and and should be treated with love. I want to care for her so that she knows it's not OK for anyone to down play period symptoms or laugh at the emotional Rollercoaster that comes with it. The bleeding is bad enough. She should be catered to just like every woman!
Men take care of your lady whose body is getting itself ready for your child or grandchild.
I have an emergency kit in my school locker and all of my girl friends know the code so if one of us needs to we use it and it is so convenient!!

If ur in middle school keep one of these in your bag at all times… especially if you haven’t had your first yet. You never know and most people get it around the ages 10-14. This is normal yall. ask your moms, don’t be afraid!

I have a period kit. In my book bag for school, i keep like a pad, some wipes, sometimes some chocolate. But never spicy food!
i’d also recommend throwing in a little bottle of hand sanitizer :)
My mom made me one of these when I wake around 8 and made me keep it with me incase I got my first one at school. I carried that with me everyday for 4 years until I actually got it

other than my first one, i've NEVER been caught off guard by a period. i feel so bad for people who do, and i pray for those who wear white pants and get their period 🙏
Also start tracking your cycle and pay attention to signs. Great idea to have a kit but doesn’t always need to be an emergency.
Okay, little pro tip! Bring a tiny bottle of peroxide, spare granny panties, and a ziploc. If you bleed everywhere, you can clean your underwear and not have to sit in your blood. 10/10 would recommend. Ive had to do this before because i could not get to the restroom in time.

this is a wonderful idea!! i’m going to say though, FLUSHABLE WIPES ARE NOT FLUSHABLE!! please please don’t flush them! they don’t dissolve in the pipes like toilet paper does, so please just throw them away! thank you!!!

I have a hard time believing UK's pipes are better. The wipes advertise they are flushable, and people usually don't realize how much problem they are creating by actually flushing them

Soooo I’m on my schools softball team and when miss flo comes around I get some really bad headaches. And a while back I made my dad buy me some peppermint tea cause I thought it would help but I really hate the taste of it. Soooo I keep the little tea bags in my emergency kit so I can kinda just smell them and it really helps. And one time one of the younger girls on the team got her first period right before the game. She bled through her pants and was an absolute emotional wreck. She was crying and we were all comforting. One of the older girls gave her some meds for cramps while me and a friend flagged down the coach and told him what had happened. (The whole team is luckily really open about that kinda stuff so it wasn’t awkward.) He understood and gave us a pair of extra pants to give her. She was just sitting in her locker when we got back and the rest of the team told us she had a really bad headache and she wanted to be left alone. I grabbed one of my teabags and gave it to her and I’m about 15 minutes she was up and ready to go. They really do help a lot I would totally suggest it.
I think it's important to know not every pad is fine. Size- You can get over it if it's too big, but some pads- You may be allergic to. Always in my sister's experience is the best, but for me any does. By the way, the rest of the kit is rather optional, most of it you should have with you at all times, just the matter of tampons/pads :|

It’s so sad how the teachers at school well at my school there is this room where if we do something bad which “eating’ is bad if you eat you get sent to this room and they discipline you for doing what you did wrong, which I think is horrible cause eating chocolate when on your period and then get sent to this room would literally make me cry
So many times I’ve had teachers offer me peppermint oil to help with headaches and so many times I’ve had to explain that I’m allergic. It would be so damn useful to not be allergic!

Legit never thought of going to the dollar store for this, I’ve never had an emergency kit in my backpack I just shoved half a box of pads in my backpack 👀😅 So if I started at school I’d have to ask friends and the school for feminine products.. and would go through pain the whole day. Will be doing this for the upcoming school year without spending a quadrillion million dollars 💀
Hey ladies and anyone else who can get periods, don't skimp on period products! Some of the things that they put in certain products can cause you to break out or cause irritation, especially the SUPER cheap ones! Take care of yourself ✨

I made one for my daughter when she started growing body hair, just in case she started early (age wise). She did, had her first a month after she turned 10, and had been carrying her EPP (Emergency Period Pack) to school for a year and a half.
i’ve been doing this for a year or so and ITS A LIFE SAVER!!! Also throw in some mints or gum and a mini fragrance just in case 😍😍😍😍

If you live where it gets hot I don't recommend keeping deodorant or chapstick in the car. I've had both melt in my car before.

Nice! Mine is a lot easier; equate midol from Walmart, baby wipes Parent Choice (periods can get nasty), and of course pads. Bottled water or any water can also be helpful.
also keep a change of underwear!! u never know when you’ll leak through lol. also for people like me with deathly cramps, on amazon i found this mini potable heating pad! it’s super helpful 🙂

I haven’t gotten mine yet but I had the puberty talk today at school and the nisre gave all of us free period kits with a tooth brush tooth paste deodorant lotion and pads they also gave us a fabric marker to costomize it however we would like it love it and it has already come in handy

I just always keep a couple of pads, pantie liners and tampons in my purse at all times.
I literally pack 2 pads and 1 liner and call it a day
i fr made a kit like 2 years before i even started and then it got lost😭💀
I think this is very convenient and you should always have one for where your at the most ( school for me ) but I wouldn’t do a clear bag because if you take your pass and a clear bag to the restroom other ppl are gonna be like “ OMG EWWWW”
Don't forget to add underwear just in case
