Paul just made me wonder whether we can actually be all the way out side the cave, lol.
Using the Kardichev scale it would appear that there are other higher level species like type 3 or type 4 and we are not even a type 1 yet.
These higher level species are so advanced so much farther than we are that we have little or no understanding of it.
That being said i feel its pretty obvious that these more evolved species use us in a multitude of ways in order to harvest energy.....all types of energy. Of which our life times of experiences provide those types of energy that they know how to........cultivate like a good gardener or a good farmer or rancher knows how to get the most out of their land or animals etc.. Not unlike how we do the same only their harvest is our emotional energy especially when stimulated and manipulated in countless ways. So this would explain the suffer for god belief.
One only needs to think about all this for a while so it sinks in. Then take a whole new look at our world and at our society and all the different ways in which we could be manipulated in order to cause our extreme emotional experiences perfect for harvesting that kind of energy.
So on that note look at what a mass shooting could provide for these harvesters. Theres the extreme horror of the event for all who are caught up in it and also theres a lot of collateral suffering and sadness and trauma etc. If theres 20 fatalities theres likely many many collateral sufferers per each victim.
Not to mention theres wars and rumors of wars and natural disasters and just every day death and drama etc. EVER WONDER WHY ALL THAT HAPPENS? Well wonder no more. And i have studied all this intensely for decades and i truly believe that religion is one of the biggest tools of these energy harvesters. It all seems to make much more sense once our existance is examined in this way.

Yes, thank you. That "learning through suffering" line has always pinged my bullsh!t meter. As a professional tutor, I know that when someone is suffering is when they are least able to learn anything. Suffering just causes trauma, which fractures us and breaks us down. We may be here to do something, but I can't and won't believe that it's to suffer.

If you look at the culture of the Untouchables in India, for instance, and how it is that they navigate often extremely challenging circumstances without the low self-esteem and psychological problems of people living a "comfortable modern Western lifestyle" one of the reasons for this is because of their worldview which leaves them never alone in the way Western materialism generally does. So there are a lot of layers to this story. I don't believe in a personified cosmos "needing" anything by the way. I do believe that the cosmos is a learning experience though. I politely challenge the idea that untouchables of India go "without low self-esteem and psychological problems" like those of us in the West. On the contrary, there has been significant research and unyielding activism in the mistreatment and devaluing of the lower castes of India and how it significantly harms their mental health and psychological well-being (Gupta, Coffey 2020 NIH). May you provide data to support the notion that they don't have the kind of self-esteem issues we face in the West so we can compare notes? I was wondering if you would consider covering the issue of life after death in detail. It would mean of course expanding what you are already doing.
By this I mean what happens after we die? Where do we go? Is there a reincarnation trap/loop and if so, how do we overcome it or avoid it? It has been said by people who journey into the astral that their are entities there who approach us after we die disguised as our guides/family members with the intention of leading us back into this endless earth reincarnation loop using unpaid karma as their weapon of coercion. According to the Slavic Vedas (and who knows how trustworthy they are), the reason our planet has been experiencing so much suffering is that we are going through our apogee from the galactic center, thus putting us into a range where evil is possible. The natives of this outer part of space (outer darkness) are such creatures as can only live in hellish regions. Since our planet was in their space, they were able to invade (in a mostly non-material way) and run things how they like them, a.k.a. will plenty of cruelty and destruction.
We left their range of space in 2012 (again, according to the Slavic Vedas) and we are now passing through a sort of DMZ on our way to our perigee. In that range of space, closer to the galactic center, the native inhabitants are more like what we might call angels. They're very familiar with us since we've been there before, during other cycles.
All of this ties in very neatly with Sri Yukteswar's interpretation of the (Indian) Vedic premise of the Yugas. According to Yukteswar, we left the Kali Yuga in 1699 and are now moving through a sort of low-middling region in our celestial journey, on our way to the better, brighter, more spiritual Yugas.
I think the two sources are saying more or less the same thing, just expressed slightly differently. The Slavic Vedas promise that our friends, the spiritual beings that were with us in the previous golden ages, will come back and help us to oust the demonic beings that are still hanging on to us.
We shall see.

I don't know. I think we are all here in whichever cycle of life we're in to learn lessons to enhance a greater understanding of ourselves & our place in the cosmos. When we've mastered a lesson, we move on to the next lesson and the next and so on. If we don't learn the lesson, we repeat until we have. We are all on "the path unwinding in the circle of life."

You mentioned the cave and Plato's description of leaving it....I was reminded of a small tribe of insular natives in S. A. The Momas(so pronounced, spelling doubtful).
Their practice is to take a baby into their cave. During the 18 or so years that the child is there, they are taught what is outside the cave. Try to describe a butterfly to one who's never seen a tree, stream, trees etc.
When they first walk out of the cave, their senses have been tuned to only descriptions but the learning opens them to the new visuals with a completely mind/spirit point of view.

I have always wondered (well since I think I had use of my brain) why human beings, can't live in peace. The whole history has been about wars against each other, armies of the heaven, armies of the east and the west, ridiculous, who dominates who, there is a lot of rage and hate in our hearts and that is the reason why I find it impossible to believe that we are a blue creation, the God of Love would've made us with these feeling towards each other, I am not saying I am a saint, I am another one that is trying my best.

We're a genetically modified ape. A social animal. We just have a percentage of our creators's dna in in us, which gives us a level of intelligence that other animals don't have. But we're still social animals, and we live in troops, clans, tribes etc, and we have alphas and followers, and we fight against others.
War has nothing to do with anger or hate. It's simply an extention of political goals. Even the soldiers on the ground are not full of hate...its a job for them. But I do agree that constant conflict is kind of ridiculous.

@LisaLisa-zx8fh - Nothing is wrong with that picture. You got that right, though we need to add also the movement of the solar system and the galaxy, of course! The organising principle is gravity, something we have understood in current terms (moreorless) for 350 years, ie since Newton, but which was understood in other language by Copernicus, Galileo, Bruno, Plato and other greats before their time. Our soul is imprisoned inside out body and our consciousness imprisoned inside our brains. Our bodies are imprisoned on a a planet with high walls (gravity) and with a surrounding electric fence (Van Allen radiation fields) The only bit we are not sure about is the guards of this prison if they are need at all.

We are beholden to earth (material reality) for the creation of our souls. Our souls are a precious, new-born entity that emerges from the material/electrical interactions in our brains (and possibly also between brains, i.e., interactions with other humans), dependent, of course, on our bodies nourishing our brains. The body, which dies, creates the soul which doesn't die. Evidence that the soul doesn't die is everywhere: there are no straight lines in the Universe.
Your typo ('out body'/our body) may mean more than a random mistake. The soul emerges out of the body and is freed when the body is no more.

Our soul and our consciousness (call it any name you want) can escape our body. Sometimes it can happen by accident, some people can do it when they want to, also some drugs can make that happen.
I'm not saying those "things" are not imprisoned. But there are people who can open the prison door for some time, and return again to their body. It's a technique, but i'm not sure everyone can do it, or learn it.

Awesome video, Paul, I totally agree with you! :) I think that Plato's cave description may be a description of a condition of being after being "awakened" with the use of psychedelics - it is very similar to experiences of people who did that and even to how many secret societies work.
We have been colonized by at least 5 alien nations and they feed on our suffering. So yes this is a slave, prison planet.
I know how you feel. I have fantasies of meeting those Anunnaki bastards who created us then abandoned us and punching them in the nose. I don't think they're still around. I think maybe they got yanked by a higher power. And I don't think we're on a prison planet, but perhaps a protectorate of some kind. We weren't supposed to be created but, since we were and we are sentient, the higher beings who sanctioned the Anunnaki have isolated us for some reason (for instance, that we are a dangerous hybrid that could wreak havoc in our neighborhood, or that we are vulnerable to further manipulation or to being extinguished, as the Great Flood portends). (Anunnaki got disgusted with us - not good slaves, "too loud," as the Sumerian texts say, and breeding too much - and tried to wipe us out.)
I don't know about "feeding on our suffering" nor have I heard of 5 alien nations. Just the one: the Anunnaki. Evidence is they were just greedy, arrogant, squabbling SOBs, with perhaps just one of them having a bit compassion (the one who warned 'Moses'). But I can see that, if you look beyond Sumer, to India, Latin America, etc., there could have been other alien groups who messed around here.
