I always thought FF covered this but wasn't sure. Now I will check out more form HoD. Just droney and groovy af. Love the monochromatic approach to the vocals.
Hella badass sounding for late 80s. I was expecting a much rougher mix and overall tone compared to the fear factory version, but I'm very pleasantly surprised. Guess i probably shouldn't have. Either way, awesome song
25 years later I realised Fear Factor covered this song....
amen. i had no idea until 10 minutes ago.
Me too
Fear factory’s versions better
@@BenGiancotti Original is better: 80s originality at the best, dumb f*ck

I used to play this song at half speed when I was a DJ at WVFS (FSU) in the early 90's. Good times
That had to be an awesome experience, very cool. 😎
@@pelicanisis1 I dug it. Not sure if anyone else did. "Airwaves Dream" by The Buzzcocks was another half-speed favorite of mine.
I'm here because of Fear Factory
me too glad fear factories was better, but good cover tune always. i felt like i heard it before but i guess i was to drunk or stoned lol ;-)
Me too.
If it wasn't for Fear Factory I never would have learned of this awesome song.
Randomly heard FFs cover...and instantly had to look to see who wrote this. It has a very early Soundgarden vibe
...every day of my life.
26th of April, 2024 and I only just found out this song is a cover. Have loved it since first hearing Fear factory's Demanufacture and had NO idea....

They did. Head of David is the original.
I’m here because I used to smoke bucket bongs to this back in the day
so cool!
Would love to hear Godflesh take on this, esp since Justin played in this band/was the drummer.
Epic.......
Les deux versions de fear factory et david of Head sont excellentes. J'aime bien cette musique

I always thought it was March of Ian
Soundgarden borrowed their sound in the Super Unknown.
Maybe, though supermega OK has more sonically in common with dustbowl
Fear Factory brought me here.
