Love the art haul. What are your thoughts on moleskin sketchbooks? Thinking about purchasing one. Also did you buy reference books on how to sketch buildings and such? Your sketches are so amazing. I am also thinking about a book on sketching buildings, etc. And again on the people that you sketch, the full body did you buy reference books to help you along the way? I am thinking about a book on that. There are some urban sketching books that barnes and noble carries. Trying to put me an order in pretty soon. Limited funds, but want to get some great art stuff! Thanks for answering my questions in advance. 🙂❤

I do like Moleskine- in fact, I’ll be sharing one I love this week in an art haul. No, I paint mostly from life - never from photographs so I don’t use reference books for things like figures or buildings.

I use the mega pencil instead of graphite to pre sketch watercolor pieces since its watersoluble primary colors and they behave beautifully for this purpose. I dont like that you thumb dowm my precious........ but i like you, and those birds are beautiful, subscribed.

I got tickled at your comment. Good point in the Mega pencil!!! I'm sure the Mega has lots of fans! I have actually been using it in my sketchbook I have in my purse. I had to take notes with it one time because I didn't have anything else and it's TERRIBLE for note taking - I'm sure you can imagine. Thanks for taking time to watch, comment, and subscribe! Glad to have you hear!!!!

If you still have (and hate) that megacolor Quattro I'd love to buy it or trade for it, you can't find them in the US anymore and I'd love to have one for my undersketches. I have the non-watersoluble version and I love those too. :)

@@sandihester The Cretacolor Mega Quattro, the big four color pencil that is water soluble, it's in this video :) (This is a haul video from 2019, not the one you posted today, I'm sure it's confusing between the video titles)
