"I never would have thought in my wildest imagination, 35 years later, I'd be still be going to hardcore bands and checking out new bands and still be getting blown away by new bands. Hardcore will never die. There's realy nothing else to say!" #RIPToddYouth
My first show was Murphy's Law with Todd Youth Back with a Bong tour. My buddy had the album and I didn't really get it. I thought it was too "happy" for what I was digging, which was AF and the Cro-Mags etc. The second Murphy's Law hit their first note, the place went off like a firecracker and my life was forever changed. Todd Youth has an instantly recognizable guitar tone and right hand.
Just came from their Regis interview back in the day. Had to find out where this young man went in life, sad to hear of his passing. Nice to get to hear more from him, as only 1 person really got to speak in that interview. Wish we had heard more from him back then too!
RIP Todd Youth still remember hanging and talking with him in front of coney island high when he was with D generation like 20years ago feels like yesterday
Todd Youth is in my top 3 guitar players . Dr. Know, David Gilmour, and Todd Youth . One of My biggest influences great musician great performer and a down to earth good guy . Glad Drew did a 10 questions with him . @stonefilmsnyc Drew u gotta do one with Israel Joseph I
Very cool interview. I remember the Christmas shows at CBGB's . We played a terrible show and got blown off the stage by the greatest band in the world. I also broke my SG. I remember going back to van which was parked outside CBGB's and questioning if I had what it takes.
@@stonefilmsnyc i drove him back n forth from nj many many times during those times and got to know him well. even his days w/ glen cambell. drugs kill. makes me very sad.
@@stonefilmsnyc I understand. Many times he gets overlooked for some reason, though. I know in some circles it's not cool to like anything Glenn Danzig, and some people in the punk community might consider him a sellout for playing with major label groups.
mackie and earl are great, but there is other drummers that deserve some credit. 1. lou medina breakdown. 2. chinese dude district 9. 3. tom murphy egh. not discrediting mackie or earl in no way. ;-)

RIP my brother!!!!!!!!!
RIP to a legend !
I just knew his 3rd pick for favourite drummers would be Chuck. RIP, Todd
You forgot The Monkees, The Smith’s, The Beatles, The Cure, Duran Duran and maybe a couple of others. This guy gets around !
Hi.Please, what is the song in the start of this video?
Fireburn-Break It Down
Surprised he mentioned Chuck Biscuits. Thumbs ☝
Why? Anyone who had seen Chuck play back in the day remembers him as one of the best.

Does anyone know what took Todd from us? So sad, there are so few words to express the loss of such a talent and straight up nice, regular guy.
Someone said pneumonia. That can take anyone at any age unfortunately.
I heard Heroin
tell us that stigma story please!
RIP punk rock heroe
Rip brother.

I've always been shocked that I've never heard Ken Schalk from Candiria mentioned. I guess they're too metal for some of these guys.
🙏🏻
RIP
Not one Danzig question
Hardcore won’t die but he did thanks to heroin.
R.I.P. Todd...
