My husband is usually the cook in our house but since he has been working from home during the nights, I’ve had to take on that role. I just made this tonight and the whole fam LOVED it! I was so proud of myself for being able to cook something so yummy! Thank you so so much!! 🥹♥️
Oh my god, so I just made this, I forgot to buy yogurt and cumin so I used mayo and corrainder powder. I always do a little tester by cooking a piece of chicken just so I know if there's anything lacking and the recipe is PERFECT. Oh my god the chicken is so good and I havent even let it marinate yet. So excited to try it when it's marinated. Thank you for this week's meal prep ❤
I have made this countless times, and added it into rice bowls or pita wraps with tomato, onion, banana peppers, spinach, chick peas, and Toum! I LOVE THIS RECIPE!
Put oil in bowl. Use paper towel dab on oil in bowl to brush oil on meat (save oil). Paper towel can be quickly discarded. Oily brush, hard to clean and makes a mess in the sink that makes other dishes oily.
We tried this and it was yummy but we didn’t care for thigh meat. I tried to go by the recipe exactly and we just prefer breast meat in our house so if you are like me, and never really cook with/ eat thigh meat then you should just use breast and it will be so delicious! That is the only thing I would do differently next time.
This are the best chicken skewers I’ve ever made. Put them with rice and used the remaining marinade to coat bits of bacon and fried them 😍. Only change would be less salt but nonetheless 10/10
I’m making these tomorrow for a family bbq along with Moroccan carrot salad, Greek salad, sausages and an Italian carrot cake and date and tahini bars. My Scottish family won’t know what hit ‘em lol
This was sooooo amazing. I changed it a bit to fit my palette. Used one pound chicken but followed the recommend seasoning for 2 lbs chicken except I used 1tsp of chicken bouillon powder (less sodium than salt but taste way better than salt) and then added less than 1/2 tsp of salt. This extra salt is not necessary but I like a very flavorful meat. Only added salt to assist the chicken bouillon powder to fit my palette. I also added one packet of sazon seasoning - the coriander and Annatto. Last but not least I used non fat Greek yogurt but then I made my own buttermilk using 1/2 cup of evaporated milk and one tablespoon of vinegar. When I tell you it was so delicious and extremely tender considering I used chicken breast, you would think I used chicken thighs to make it. I marinaded it for 4 hrs because 1 hr is not enough to fully tenderize the chicken to my liking. I also cut the chicken breast in slices at an angle because I wanted it to be thin (not too thin) so the flavor can penetrate inside. Thank you so much for this recipe. It’s delicious and low calorie. It’s important to use a tray rack so the juice can drip into the tray without touching the chicken because the juice can be a tad bit salty
Haha forgot to give you a thumbs up. Your food are badass, just can't wait to get into it. I was hoping I got response on some of the videos I had questions about since I suck at cooking
Maybe a strange question but is there a version of this recipe that has puree'd or blitzed onions in the marinade? I maybe confusing recipe here but when i looked at the ingredient list the thought struck me "where are the onions" ! Thank you for the recipe we will be giving it a go as is, but that errant thought is bugging me no end. Take care, God bless one and all.
I have made this so many times and my family loves it. My grandkids are fussy eaters and they demolish all of it every time. Thanks for all your beautiful recipes 🇨🇦❤️

Can I use lemon yoghurt instead of plain whole milk yoghurt?

@@justamags Umm ok.. don’t have to be so dramatic abt it with your facepalms. 20 minutes at 450 sounds like overcooked chickens though!
