I love your business style! Good luck with the adjustment, I retired early due to medical issues, life flies by at lightening speed as you’re seeing with a baby. It’s not all about the hard work with the hustle associated with reselling, I have a masters in nursing & retired military. My kids are 25 and 28 , relationships are strained but I am blessed to have my military retirement under my belt ❤

I am new to this interesting world of resellers. I love watching all the videos.
I resell part time and usually sit down about twice a month and publish 12 to 15 each time but from now on I’m going to try and leave drafts ready to publish on the days I’m not able to sit down and list in order to become more consistent and see if it makes a difference. I also have gotten into the habit of consigning so my inventory doesn’t pile up, running sales and using Flyp. I make anywhere from $300 to $500 a month and I feel it’s worth my time. Thank you for all the info you put out, Mogi! :)
I'm glad you're doing so well. I have found that I make my most sales on eBay and Depop. I mostly sell vintage clothes/shoes/accessories/home goods. I hardly ever make sales on Poshmark or Mercari anymore. Also, for vintage and specialty items, I sell them on Etsy as well. Etsy's fees are bad, so I try to only sell items on there that I will make a large enough profit that the fees won't kill me. Thanks for the great info. I love your BOLO videos as well!!
My business grew a lot this year but would like to double again. Been reselling full time now for a year. I added whatnot to the mix this year about a month ago and am building that up. Mainly list on Ebay first them Posh and Mercari.

Oh I made a vision board on my iPad this year for the first time ever! It was so fun! Mainly for personal things though. As far as reselling, I am very part time so my goal is also consistency, one listing per day LOL. Happy new year Mogi! Thanks as always for sharing!

My best sale last year was Armani Collezioni men’s blazer. I found it at goodwill for $6 and almost passed right by it. Sold for full asking of $191 two days later 😮

This was my first year as a reseller. I have learned so much. My goal is not too specific, but it is to continue to channel this driving force and inspiration to source and list more consistently. I tend to run out of inventory. Thank you and Happy 2023!

Goal for 2023… more vitamin D! 🌞Sit in sun for 15 min. a day. Sounds silly. I know. But after being sick all of Dec. i realized if I’m not healthy, I can’t accomplish anything! I started sitting is the sun 15 min. per day and it worked better than all my antibiotics & meds. I finally got better!
Your sales were great! This was my first full year as a full time reseller and with all the trial and errors I’d have to say I did decent but definitely need to do better. I also had my son in December so I totally agree with maternity leave and reselling doesn’t really work. I also switched my business model too in august; the bins is great!

I am so inspired by you to make reselling a full time income! I am currently unable to list the volume of inventory that you do on a daily basis due to space, but I am really interested in seeing your listing process. I feel like it takes me a couple of hours just to photograph, edit, and list 5-10 items.
I needed to hear that part about the score will take care of itself. I sort of abruptly quit my job in August and went full time without much of a plan, and the end of the year went pretty well. I was so excited for the start of 2023... had a new inventory and sales spreadsheet ready to go, started listing consistently 12+ items a day... and then the first came and sales were just DEAD! It has been a really slow sales month so far, and it's making me nervous! I know we're just 13 days in, so I just need to keep up with what I can control and let the sales come. Thanks for the video!

Ebay just changed the viewing of past sales - you can now view your last 2 years, go to the orders tab and then put in the date range - hope this helps :)
I found a nwt beautiful ace & jig dress, and it's just sitting! I was so excited. Perhaps listed too high at 250$? Also in Canada, so maybe it's not as sought after here.

Mercari is so fun but it’s really not very good for clothes, it’s much better for other types of items. The only clothes I’ve sold there were a concert t-shirt from my own closet & a very cool vintage 90’s hammer pants I literally got from a box on the street. I don’t have brand names though, so that’s probably why I don’t sell clothes on Mercari much. But other types of items do so well there. And it’s a great place to get certain things-like it’s the only place I can find my all-time favorite earbuds. I’ve been selling things I got for free literally off the street, people put out signs around here all the time that say “free” and I’ve sold so much of it on Mercari after having it around a while and realizing I’m not gonna use whatever it is.
I wonder how realistic it is to source 500 listings per month primarily from the bins? It just sounds like a lot of hand-selected items that would require a huge amount of time sourcing and taking daily trips to the bins, spending at least 3+ hours there. But considering the time as our most valuable resource, it just doesn't make sense.
What are some tips on Photographing Formal wear . I have such a hard time showing detail from so far away to get the whole dress in the pic

Girl I love you, but I have to bring something to your attention. I have been watching you for a long time, and you have repeatedly mis-used gross vs net profit. Gross is your profit before any deductions. Net is your profit after fees, shipping, and cost of goods. I just don’t want new people to be confused when you state your “gross” profit, which is actually your net.
