१.we need large sundial for accuracy
२. We follow ist(Indian standard time) that is differ 2 hrs across India

Because sum shadow makes 360 in 24 hours so we have to make clock showing all 24 hours . Otherwise in normal clock of showing 12 hours in 360 degrees, the one day complete will take 720 degrees rotation which is twice of earth's 360 degrees rotation in a day.

To simplify it when their is 6.00 am in aasam sun is up but same 6.00am in gujrat their is darkness it means gujrat time should be around 3.00 or 4.00 am but both follow the time which is in dehli it is know as IST (Indian standard time) so sun clock shows correct time according to sun but actually goverment is making us fool and shows us wrong time
