Using a stick of ram can harm the ram if you're cutting the Box or even take because stuff gets stuck on it and can really just plug it back into your computer.

Having played on the Mario edition and the regular switch, I can tell you games play better on the Mario edition. Hardly any frame rate drops in Zelda when played on the Mario edition.
