I started listening to this band literally about 15 minutes ago. I knew there was a female vocalist, but listening on spotify I was thinking "when does she start singing instead of the guy?" then i realised She's the lead vocalist.
One of the best death metal vocalists live ever regardless of Gender. The band seriously misses her power and brutality live. Band just ain’t the same without Angela and Chris and it’s a bummer. This lineup was so fuckin good especially live

I´m not a real metalhead, Prog (from Genesis to Porcupine Tree) and ProgMetal (from Threshold to Haken) is usually my cup of tea. But this is AWESOME!! So much power, so much (positive) aggression and energy. The performance of Angela is fantastic. This video made me buy some stuff of Arch Enemy.

If I was making a death metal band and could choose between Angela or Alissa I’d take Angela 10/10 times, she’s got some of the best harsh vocals in death metal especially live. At the end of the day arch enemy was at their best when Angela was vocalist, the lineup with Angela and Chris is peak AE.

I still think Angela leaving was a really bad trade for all involved. Alissa isn't on her level screaming, even if she's probably the 2nd best female screamer in the world. Alissa is also held back by AE because she's not allowed to sing normally and Alissa is just so much more complete using both voices. Overall, AE lost some edge and Alissa is being held back.
And the worst is that we cannot hear about Angela's newprojects which is a loss... there is a very strenghtening positive message in her songs, attitude and commitment to raise people ...
