Is there a place or something that you would like for me to do a video on or about ? let me know .
Check out this video ..ruclips.net/video/susUJMd5sLg/видео.html
I'm putting that rink on my list to Videograph! Question...the video looked as though they were skating in the opposite direction than in the US...🤔
@@WeSk8TV If you are a true skater , then you know its done in both directions , even when i used to live in brooklyn many years ago and went skating , it was both directions ..... So go there and experience it for yourself and you will get a better sense of how it is.
@The Mikey Story I learned how to do everything form a left and a right perspective. It was just an inquiry.
Such lucky people to live so close to something so fabulous.
Thanks for that nice 👍 one you looked like you really enjoyed yourself .
Yes I did
Glad you enjoyed it!
Correction: Flipper’s is not owned by Usher, although he was at the opening. It’s owned by Liberty Ross. Her father ran the original Flipper’s rink in LA in the 70’s.
I was looking for this comment 😅
Actually , Liberty Ross and Kevin Wall are co founders partner's with Usher whom own flippers in London.... you can google it , who owns flippers skating rink in London........
Thank very much.🤗👏 👍
Wow!
Thanks 4 sharing ❤😊
Nice
Awesome video
That place looks insane but OMG the zimmer frames 😂😂😂😂
Thank very much liking for comment on the RUclips channel.🤗👏👍👌👉✨⭐
Nice city👍🏻👏🏻
You would have a great time at the skating rink
WOW that place looks Amazing!
Yes! Adding it to my hit list!👀🎬🎥📷🛼🎞❤️
If everyone's traveling the same direction, it's not the wrong way.
Great video, thanks for sharing. I'm one of the community DJ's at Flipper's and also a skater.
Watching this just makes me want to be there right now.
yes bro . lets connect .
Great video, looks really fun! I've always wanted to do a proper roller disco. I'm not into ice skating and much prefer this even though I can't skate!
even if you cant skate , you can either go there and watch and have fun or rent skates and tell them you dont know and they can help you to learn or will give you a bar to hold on and the staff can assist you .
@@TheMikeyStory Nice, I’ll give that a go then! Were there lockers available too? Or somewhere to put your bag/coat while you skate?
@@jammydoughnuts yes there is lockers , food , drinks , have a great time if you skate or not , it's the experience that matters .
This place so dope I like it and pretty colors as well. The Mikey Story 🤔😇😎🤗👋👏🙏👌👍⭐✨👣🚶🛼🥤 Flipper's Skating 🛼 Rink London England.

Great video! Went to roller nation Friday was a good night. Started looking for other rinks and found Flippers your video was the first I saw on it, the place looks awesome! Thanks
Do you know how much money for one person for this roller arena ?
Does look pretty cool in there. A few of our local crew have been and enjoyed themselves. Bit of a mission and expense but has to be done. .
Do you know how much money for one person for this roller arena ?
Looks better than any rink in the U.S 😂
Yup
Do you know how much money for one person for this roller arena ?
Take care Mikey😊
you too..😘
Looks dope! Thanks for sharing
Your welcome .... go there sometime , you will have a blast .
I need to get there for more videography on my channel!❤❤️🎞🛼📷🎥🎬👀❤️
not sure why you got all touchy about my comment. I was going to watch all your stuff. I am 64 now but i was a regular at Scotty's late '70s tll old guy died an they closed up. So times have changed. We went counter never clock. We had a slow skate twice a nite couples tried to waltz. we had races. Guys would wipe out spectacularly. In the center we would line dance, chain dance, two would cross wrists lock grip and see how fast we could get spinning. Some of us actually were dancing as we were skating.😎We were cool back when people said "cool" Guess nobody still has 16 pairs of dyed rabbit fur pom-poms on their skates these days...keep your wheels clean. sorry if I somehow upset you
When you mentioned about being American , you sounded ignorant and it made it seem like only in America is the only right way to skate .... First off , skating does not have a direction , you can go forwards or backwards , clock or anti clockwise , when I use to go skating as a teenager , it was both directions weather you skate forwards or backwards , anyways , thanks for watching the video.
I need to go 😍
You should and experience it .
That floor looks smooth as silk. I would love to go there
nice video mannnn
Is the camera flipping the image or do people in other countries skate the opposite direction than we do in the US? Does it have to do with the side of the road you drive on?
They skate in both directions , that's the raw footage your seeing ..... It has nothing to do with driving , even when I use to go skating many years ago in Brooklyn , NYC ,(empire skate rink and others ) they skate in both directions .... I think you should go there and experience it yourself and see how you feel about it .
We change direction, usually about every 45 minutes. I don't understand places that don't.
@@JakeLDS what other places do , is not a big deal to me , as long as the vibe is good and i enjoy myself , thats what matter.
@@TheMikeyStory 100%
@@loveuncensored First , The UK ( united Kingdom ) is England , LOL .... there is a difference in saying the UK and europe , which europe is made up different countries ....... second , Mandy clearly doesn't go skating like someone who goes often to know that , when you go to a skating rink , they skate in both directions and it has nothing to do with the country .
great video mate. cheers
Yea man them vid screens do it all the way up!
Would love to get to add to my video collection!❤❤️🎞🛼📷🎥🎬👀
They all seem to be skating pretty slow. Was this an adult night skate?
I don't think I could get used to skating the other direction (clockwise) either, than what we do in the US.
You have to be there to experience it and see it also to make a full assessment
I would love to go there
That looks slow as, and why are they going clockwise?
I want to go....
Going soon
I am sure you will have a great time .

@@spartal9682 its 15 pounds for just skate and 20.50 pounds for skate and rent the skates .any other information , click on the website, and click the location you want to skate at .

This place looks off the hook .... AND, no kids !!!
Hope you go experience it
I wonder what type of flooring that is they're skating on? Is it concrete painted black or ? Thx
I am not sure but I am sure its a layered flooring , like the type they use for basketball games
No one is skating above a crawl. That would drive me crazy. They need to establish a fast only lane. Other than that this is where I want to be when I go tits up.
Rink looks small
Go there an experience it , that's the best way to make a judgement
do you have to book online to skate or can you just go there?
you can do both , enjoy the experience .
@@TheMikeyStory thank u
clock-wise hahaha but of course. Are us Americans bucking traffic?
I can tell that your not a true skater , otherwise you wont make the comment .
Is this a place for beginners
yes beginners can go , they have poles cruches that the beginners can use and staff that will help escort them if needed.
skating the wrong way......its counterclockwise less a special reverse skate is called
Exactly
I've been skating on and off since 2005 in London, We have always changed directions regularly throughout the night, usually around every 45 minutes. So we skate both ways. I'm shocked to see all the comments saying we're skating the wrong direction because I didn't know in the states you only skate one way. I would hate that, there are things I can only do one way and vice versa.
@@JakeLDS Clearly , people who don't go skating assume things they don't know about , rather than going to the place and see how it really goes down , you cant beat real experience ..... Most skating rink and parties all do it the same way in both directions , after all skates does not have a direction built into it , LOL ... its just shoes with wheels , you control the direction, speed and so on .
Do they have lockers to leave your stuff in?
Yes they do , its just big enough for leaving your shoes , a jacket or coat and there is an attendant to help you set up the locker, there is a cost but i am not sure .... Anyways , you will have a great time .
@@TheMikeyStory Thank you!
They also have a cloakroom downstairs, great for leaving bigger items. Both the lockers and cloakroom are free, though they don't allow skates on the stairs, so make sure to bring a pair of shoes to leave inside the locker as the bathrooms are downstairs.
@@TheMikeyStory There is zero cost. Even better!😀

What States?
This place is in London, England
Everybodys goin the wrong way
@@prometheusrising13 yea my right crossovers suck
@@prometheusrising13 yes. Definitely a good idea. Stops us picking up bad habits and strengthens the left side.
And slow AF
The rink is far too small and overcrowded.disappointing. Everyone going slow for this reason as no room to move. Surprised really because London is such a big city compared to other countries and they have bigger ones
it is what it is .
Unfortunately, it's hard to get large floor space in central London or good locations in London (it usually gets gobbled up by property developers!!). The larger skating rinks tend to be on the outskirts of London.
@@MsTishalish London real estate is not cheap and even to find a larger venue that's centrally located and convenient is near impossible to find , so the only way for a large floor setting is a one off event at a convention or a park or a party event but thats if there is a demand for it .....
@@TheMikeyStory Exactly!! You should check out Skate City London and Brixton Skate Jamm if you haven't before. Hopefully see you rolling somewhere 🛼
@@MsTishalish Thanks for the suggestion.
