    Sorry for the late upload. I had to deal with some stuff yesterday. With regards to Austin's title run, awesome. He was one of, scratch that, the best thing in the wrestling world at this point. Any role he was in, was entertaining. I had fun working on this video a month ago and look forward to making yet another Austin video in the near future. We do need to make some Rock content though. What did you think of this title reign?

    Austin's second reign as WWE champion was so memorable that it also solidified Austin as WWE's MVP of 1998. His wars with Taker were chaotic while his rivalry with Vince was an absolute must see. A lot of people say the rock was Austin's best rival, but personally for me Austin vs McMahon is the greatest rivalry of all time. It was the reason why the wwf overturned the ratings loss against wcw and it kick started a lot of things that we have now. Guys like mick Foley and the rock benefited immensely from the storyline and the whole "authority figure" thing never would've happened without this feud. The fact that so many have tried to replicate this shows how good it was.

    • @damainmane4765
      @damainmane4765 3 года назад +1

      It was one of the reasons WWF turned the tables on WCW in ratings...The main reason was due to WCW's inability to move beyond the nWo storyline...WCW was still making noise in 1998-1999 but too many BS finishes led to them being exposed...Finger poke,taser finish,nWo elite, wasting Bret Hart, underappreciated cruiserweights,and so many other things led to WCW's demise,it wasn't just WWF being the better product.WCW had more than enough to survive the war and potentially win it in the end,just the wrong ppl pulling the strings...

    Might do a WM15? If you’re looking back at Austin’s title reign. That match is a must! It’s your channel but that match kicked off a trilogy of matches that will never be matched today. I don’t think you realize what that match means to wrestling today. That match started a rivalry that in my opinion cannot be matched today. Two guys in their prime that transcended the industry at the same time. Saying you might not cover it is like covering the WCW and not mentioning Ric Flair but putting a spotlight on Hulk Hogans run. Hogan may have elevated WCW but Ric Flair is WCW. You’re really showing your age. Just in my opinion of course.

    Stone Cold and Mankind should’ve had a Mind Games based feud with Mick Foley using his Mankind gimmick to mess with Stone Cold Steve Austin.Stone Cold and The Undertaker and Kane would be a Triple Threat feud with Kane being WWF Champion and Undertaker interfering in Austin matches and Austin interfering in Taker’s matches.Stone Cold finally regaining the title at SummerSlam 1998 where he would hold the title for awhile until Stone Cold lost the title to Vince McMahon after some interference from Undertaker and Kane.Vince would vacate the WWF Title the next week on RAW saying that he felt as though he is no competitor and won’t put his life in jeopardy defending it.Stone Cold would be suspended from the WWF after Austin decides to torture Vince McMahon in the middle of the ring making Vince piss himself.The Rock would turn heel at Survivor Series after siding with The Corporation becoming The Corporate Champion.The Rock would win the WWF Title that night after betraying his friend and tag team partner Mankind.The Rock would win the WWF Title and begin his historic reign until it was stopped by Mick Foley who won the WWF Title on a Christmas episode of RAW.Mick Foley would hold the title until Royal Rumble where The Rock would win the title in controversial fashion faking Foley saying the words”I Quit”.The Rock would hold the title until WrestleMania 15 where he would drop it to Stone Cold Steve Austin.DX would turn heel that same night and attack Rock and Austin setting up for the DX and McMahon rivalry.Stone Cold would have a Triple Threat match at Backlash where Stone Cold would face both Rock and HHH where Austin would retain do to some interference from McMahon costing HHH the pin.HHH and McMahon rivalry would continue with HHH having two fantastic matches with Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon.HHH and Shane McMahon facing each other in a Street Fight at Over The Edge 1999 with HHH winning.Triple H and Vince McMahon would have a match at Fully Loaded 1999 with Vince being shocked by his daughters betrayal and Vince being nailed by a Sledgehammer shot from Triple H.Triple H and Stephanie would begin their dominance over the World Wrestling Federation leading to it all culminating at SummerSlam 1999 with HHH winning the WWF Title in a Triple Threat match between himself,The Rock,and Stone Cold.Triple H would win his first WWF Title at SummerSlam.Triple H would face Stone Cold in a Two Out Of Three Falls match at Unforgiven with Triple H retaining the WWF Title allowing Austin to take some time off.At No Mercy HHH would have another classic with The Rock where both men would go in a no DQ match which HHH would help after interference from DX and Shane McMahon.Survivor Series would have Big Show defeat both The Rock and HHH in a Triple Threat Match with Big Show having a feel good moment.Triple H and Vince would another classic at Rebellion with HHH getting the win at the PPV and solidifying himself as a better man than Vince in a Last Man Standing.Triple H would face Big Show in another match at Armageddon with The Rock where Big Show would lose his WWF Title after Rock was double teamed by DX allowing HHH to get the win.HHH would begin his feud with Mick Foley after Foley challenged for the WWF Title calling Foley washed up and shouldn’t be a WWF superstar.Mick Foley would be booked in a Handicap Pink Slip match where DX would get the win after Vince helped DX by delivering a low blow to Foley.Foley would go berserk and start stalking HHH in the Parking Lots and arena and even attacking DX members and scaring Stephanie McMahon.Mick and HHH would have a Street Fight match at Royal Rumble where Triple H would finish the match after delivering a Pedigree to the thumbtacks.HHH would have one more match with Foley at No Way Out where if HHH wins then Foley would have to retire Triple H would win the match after delivering a Pedigree to the steel chair and finally to the steel steps and a Sledgehammer shot to the face of Foley.
