this soundtrack kicks ass. starts off really epic showing you that the boss really means business, then ends with the realization that a child is the one fighting it under overwhelming odds. good job square
This cutscene is one of the most iconic boss battle introductions. I remember when I first played this in 2002 and when the music kicked in as she transformed I knew I was fucked. Best boss score and best use of it in the entire series.
Ok the song's great and all but a moment of silence for those who didn't use Tinkerbell during this fight.

Could you imagine if they kept her as the final boss like they originally planned would we never have got to meet ansem xeahnort xemnas or the organization I'm glad they changed it but I hope we get another great maleficent boss fight in kh3 her kh2 fight was disappointing

What if they had this boss music in kids movies that aren't Disney. What non Disney villain in a kids film would be a perfect fit for this song. I'd say Nicolas and the evil spirit from the Care Bears movie

when I saw that scene (the beginning, I was like: why ansem wants to help maleficent???? xD
both of them got their butts kicked by a brown hair boy lol, but as history would repeat, Maleficent and Ansem return from the dead in the next few games lol.
