Day in the Life of a Counseling Psychology PhD Student-- Boring COVID Edition

I told y'all I am HORRIBLE at vlogging! My phone says that I use it an average of 1 hour and 53 minutes a day although I have absolutely no idea how. Trying to film my day was SUPER CHALLENGING. Even though I basically stay in the same room for 24 hours (ugh). This video took some courage because for once, I'm not doling out tips or preaching, I'm just doing...Bri. A year ago, I envisioned a YT channel full of videos like this, but after COVID hit, my dreams of that hit the fan. So here's a small glimpse into my daily life, I don't include my family or the friends I ft'd that day, but you get the gist. There's no empire state building, no people on bustling streets, no art deco apartment. Truthfully, times right now are lonely and I have become my own best friend. There's a lot of cutesy covid Day in the Life videos out there and kudos to them, I'm just not one of them!
Every day looks different, but here is today. Here's my excruciatingly boring yet exceptionally real day in the life video.
Also:
1) Yes, I do eat. I drink coffee too (usually 1-2 cups a day!). Sorry, when I'm focused on food... I'm HYPERfocused, and didn't think to film.
2) I DO interact with people! Mainly my family and dog throughout the day. Next video will feature them.
3) This is the real day. no glam, no fancy edits, no "doing this just because its YT". While I wish I was that person with the perfect home office and bedroom decor...I'm not. I wake up with a cap on, I live in my rural town, I read some books. I'm uniquely average and this is REAL LIFE frans.

Hahahaha I was STRUGGLING!! I was so silent during our lab’s discussion because my head was spinning 😂
Vlogging is SO. HARD. I'm starting to realise that its a legitimate art form in itself. It was so nice to see what you're up to! All of our days are super boring, so its nice to be able to relate 😅😅 I also journal, I think it is vastly underrated as a tool for (i) reflecting (ii) praying (iii) feeling grateful (iv) figuring out where you're at.
We need more puppy footage. Even if its not directly related... More puppy content!! :)

What does a research lab look like in this field ? I’ve only experienced wet lab and class project research in social psychology but have limited clue on research in Counseling or Clinical psychology
