@@jonathanz.9675 Well, you already answered the question. He's slathered in the stuff, they aren't getting him. Even if he dies, he'll be one hardcore son-of-a-bitch.
Honestly i feel like a final battle against a spartan flood form would be perfect for this... Honestly i felt like he was kinda missing from the end...
I honestly thought there was going to be a flood spartan boss battle at the end, it felt like it was building up to that, but all that tension and it didnt even pay off. Kinda disappointed ngl
Just waiting for the right time in the campaign to do that. This is a mission from my campaign Halo: Prevarication. Using this level is to tight of a location to fight a spartan that also moves quicker then you.
@@Halo_Prevarication I assume something as sensible as "just noob combo it" wouldn't work, because it would be anticlimactic as all get-out? Maybe give the Flood Spartan some kind of shield generator you need to destroy first.
Alright you guys may have got me. As the spartan itself is infected and carries an engram of a protogravemind, the flood infected spartan is a major antagonist to the plot. Killing him off defeats the idea of more future content. So yes, a boss fight can be done. But it will more serve of a "slowing him down" kind of scenario.
Fun fact: the color red is avoided specifically because it is hardest to perceive and we can see the fewest distinct shades of it. Meanwhile green is most easily noticed and we can perceive the most shades of it. Yellow is also highly noticeable, and this is why yellow, green and white are the most commonly used colors for night vision sets and the like. Long story short, red is the worst choice for a HUD and it shows
@Espartanica it's a pretty common issue with Halo Mods in particular, where they make the hud too colourful or use a "badass" colour for some reason and they just botch it completely. There's a reason Bungie did it the way they did Moders.
More like Fartsnest with all those clouds coming off the Flood.
Beware the fart gas xD
Suddenly the walking flood spores are a LOT more terrifying when you dont have shields constantly protecting you.
rookie would canonically be dead just from touching the guns covered in flood supercells
He would need to have a cut first.
@@malcolmsaintan open pore would be enough, unless he had arbiter’s flood block cream

He's just built like that
Flood Carriers able to wield an SMG is wild. 💀

We shall see. This is a beta release so everything isn't fully final yet.
@Halo_Prevarication aha
20:36 I'm curious which ambiance music was used there? Btw awesome mod.
This was recorded with me playing the guitar
Imagine a regular marine in this situation god that would be horrifying

The mod isn't finished. This is beta, I wouldn't be surprised to see it in the finished version!

Yeah whenever I played it I was expecting him to be a final boss.
imagine the smell 💀💀
You wouldn't want to be breathing the raw air anyway. Filtration systems!
What is this mod? It looks so good.
The name is Floodsnest. Additional details are in the description.
@@SickRetina Ok. Thank you.😃
Honestly i never know the difference between the normal floods and the green flood of this mod
Whats up with the marines? The unchanged ones shooting at you? Didnt really get a good look at them.
They have the Halo 4 flood spartan head from multi-player that has been scaled down to fit their body.
This mod looks cool, but that HUD colour is just awful.
