Please note; using a VISA credit card now you get about the same as the blue dollar rate. I was just in Bueno Aires for 2 months.

Thanks for the input .. I’m going next week . So using a visa is the same as cash ( when it comes to rate )? How about the hotels ? I booked online and it’s pretty expensive do you think I should pay at the hotel in cash ?

@@tzatzikitztz I'm not sure about Hotels, as I stayed primarily at Airbnb's and used points for the Hotels. I used a visa CC for most all other things, restaurants, Uber , ferry and such. Funny, I'm returning next week also, enjoy your trip, you know I will.

Thanks for the update! It’s good to know that using a VISA card is now giving a rate close to the blue dollar rate.

Argentina needs to adopt the use of Swiss Francs. Neutral country plus it has high denomination notes, unlike both the US and Euro.

The Swiss Franc is indeed a strong currency, but Argentina's economy has its own complexities. Adopting a new currency would come with its challenges.

And how to get cash? Fly in with a bag of USD?

@@Mynewlife1988 ha ha.. yes, you would just need a small purse with $100 Dollar bills or else, you can transfer via Western Union or as I mentioned in the video, you can use visa debit card.
