- As a graphic designer who works from home, I spend a lot of my time by myself, in my office. However recently I got the opportunity to go to Creator Camp and hang with some of the most talented artists and creatives I have ever met.
This trip taught me something, as creatives we need community…now more than ever.
Shoutout to all the amazing new friends I made and the wonderful Creator Camp team for inviting me

I love how I can see the group shots and recognize at least half of the people that are in it. It's so cool to see people whose work I admire in one video. Thanks for sharing. ❤
There was a time in my life where I was hanging out with a group of friends that only ever wanted to go out and drink. They never wanted to sit inside and talk or do much else. I don’t drink and always struggled to enjoy my time with this group due to the difference in energy. Drinking was the common interest for everyone but me. It slowly made me realize that I wasn’t truly friends with these people and I didn’t share many interests with them. So I don’t see those people anymore.
This is a long way of saying; finding a group that shares a common genuine interest is the only way you will grow in a group. Don’t make friends off of bullshit connections, or stuff you don’t fully invest yourself in. I’m pretty introverted but when I’m going to design events all I want to do is talk to strangers. Creatives form strong bonds.
I could be having the worst day and by some unexplainable miracle your vids always manage to turn things around for me. Thank you for being a homie on here ⭐️
Even as an anxious introvert, this looks like an awesome experience! I gotta find me some creative community.
This video is so wholesome!!Having just moved to the UK and no friends around made me long for this kind of connection even more😢
Loved the video man. Keep up the great work!
Amazing video! The storytelling and pacing was on point 👌
Love this for you Jesse! Super inspiring 💡
wholesome and inspiring vibes! need something like this in the UK for sure
You really need a community, this is a big part for a designer
Love this! Some days can be tough and leave you wondering if things get better, but seeing you living life and having these wholesome experiences brings hope back to my college student self :,) thanks again
Love love love the message in this. Thanks for reminding me that life is too short to be so introverted and inside all the time. I need to explore more and live a little.
I can't agree more with the title
New Jesse drops always get me hype
I cant describe it but something about this video moved me so much. I felt emotional and inspired from very beginning. I think having community is important regardless but as a creative you illustrated those needs beautifully. It really does help us not feel so out of place or weird or different. I feel when I'm surrounded by creatives I bloom and evolve at a speed I sometimes don't even know how to handle 😂but the inspiration and motivation fellow creatives bring is unreal. This trip looks like a dream, I hope to be able to go to something like it or another creative camp sometime. Need to find my artistic community
this is so wholesome 🤌🏼

How did you charge your phone or recording devices if power was out?
Probably solar power, and also they went on field trips to several different locations that presumably had working power those first few days.
was it warm inside the airstreams?
Chris got jokes haha
