Ship Simulator 2008 high waves NEW

This one is a newer version of my most popular video( • Ship Simulator 2008 Hi... )
I had to edit the 'weatherpresets.xml' file to get such high waves because the game only allows maximum 4 meter waves. I could only change the height of the waves so at over 30 meters the waves start looking really strange! (like walls of water)
The songs are "Darkest Child" and "The Complex", taken from www.incompetech.com
The game is Ship Simulator 2008 by VSTEP.

FPSGHoST808 correct, if a period has big frequency in order to fit the waves inside the height is low because it has not much time to be so huge, on the other side if the frequency is not much probably it makes huge waves but not exeed 100m. because only in tsunami it can be over 100m.. In the sea you cannot see if you have tsunami. You can see tsunamis if you are ashore. So this sim is totally bad.

I think you need to maintain a realistic ration for height of waves verses base width of waves. That way it would be realistic.

I own ship simulator 2008 but can't seem to get the waves to work. I modified both files but they're not working it seems. If I free walk around it makes my head spin like crazy but the waves don't do anything in terms of real height change

well, I think in this game you have damage but not correct damage(like you hit a iceburg it sinks), as for the cars I don't think the point of this game was to show physics of the cars on the ship but the ship itself, although i'd love to see a ship game your thinking of.

rudy EUSTACHE If a vessel suffers from sagging and hogging, in this waves it probably breaks. if you increase RPM you multiply the power and the keel suffers from lots of power such as the center of gravity and the fatigue of steel.
