Asuka being annoyed by her brother as per usual, but seeing a new side to Judai that she never saw before, and secretly liked to hear him sing. I think even her two best friends would probably swoon a bit.

Would you guys be surprised if I told you that KENN was the va of Leo in Black Clover (and that was an anime that aired in around 2018 or something I believe). So yeah! The era when there is no many OP cards like Pendulum, XYZ, and OTK deck. Childhood.. And, I surprised that this person is the same voice actor who plays as Dino on Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Dayuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmmmm
A lot of crap was OP in comparison to what had come before. Not as bad as these days, but still pretty bad. I remember people complaining about the powercreep in GX back when it was new.
Not to mention the decks had an actual theme that fit the characters' personalities, and not just random unbalanced stacks like the original, sure there were some, like Mai's harpies and wind monsters, Joey's warriors, Weevil's bugs, and Rex and Kenzan's dinosaurs, but every deck felt like they had that sense of balance and more individuality.

Judai Yuki you sure know how to sing! I think Yubel just fangirled in the audience while you were singing...while pushing Asuka out of the way.....and I think Johan fanboyed too....I think Kenzan and Sho also fanboyed too but not as much as Johan.
Still till this day I never understood why KENN didn’t go for/get asked for more big shonen roles. I absolutely loved him as Jaden, he was great, he embodied that young, carefree, and hot headed character that Jaden was. He also was incredible in showing that serious side of a shonen protagonist, his voice is just perfect for the role and it baffles me how he didn’t get bigger ones. I guess times have changed as shonen characters nowadays aren’t exactly hot headed/carefree anymore. Asta from Black Clover embodies that old school feel but I think Gakuto Kajiwara has done an incredible job and I can’t see anyone else as Asta at this point(I know KENN does Leopold). But it just baffles me why he doesn’t get these roles, I also know he was the main protagonist of Majin Bone and that was one of the main reasons I watched it besides the great opening song.
I was shocked when I found out that Kenn also voiced Leo, but I didn’t even noticed the voice at all. (Fact: I watched Black Clover before Yu-Gi-Oh GX)

Grew up with Yu-Gi-Oh!. But GX is my favourite. I really appreciated the good and fresh vibes GX was able to express compared to the others. Less serious and more playful, all about having fun. Perhaps also cuz Judai is the only anime character I can fully relate to. We both share the same personality before we turned dark😂 I sorta wanna rewatch it now. Ofc for nostalgia purposes in the first place. But also cuz i wonder if I ever find back to my core/original personality before the world turned me into "this" lol. We are very alike so this anime meants a lot to me. Thanks for upload 😁

@@Thisdude850 the run cycle is well made, the perspective for watching a walk cycle from the front is actually hard to imagine, the changes of facial expressions make it more intersting, the detail in the movement of the hair when he stops, the way he jumps and smiles is very expressive and then the change in speed when he changes from walking to running. Thats where my appreciation comes from, but I understand if you dont see it in the same way as I do. I love full body movements on characters, this is for me an animation that can be referenced for learning a walk cycle (front view) and then study how they change the speed, I wish I could make something as lively as this is, with animation is very easy to have something look just mechanical.
Also the choice of making him trip and almost fall makes the acting more fun. And in the walk cycle you can see they move the shadows on the legs which make it seems like its running across some place. I love those minor details, the person doing this mustve been having fun (I hope).

End Boss Eleven I played Yu-Gi-Oh when i was around 7 or 8 years old. Before that all i did was collect. This always reminds me of me and my dad dueling, so it's easily one of my favourite songs.

Sure, there was no riding duel nor was there any xyz in GX, but what's the deal ? Extra deck summon are a problem in real life, in the anime it's super entertaining. And what's with the riding duels ? They were the best thing to ever happen to the yugioh anime. And no, yugioh Duel monsters got *their* rules right. In duelist kingdom, it was a bit special, since they did stuff that just didn't make sense, even with the duelist kingdom rules. But in the seasons that followed, they just used their own established rules. They weren't cheating or anything, that's just how the rules of anime worked ( Even though I'm a bit confused about the infinity + 1 combo Yugi pulled against Dartz... ).
@@bigfish5544 The banlist was created in the middle of GX.Since the end of season 2 Pot of Greed was banned and no one in the anime used it anymore.(and the card didnt really do any harm in the anime,more in real life).I guess that the rest is just personal opinion.Some people like the new stuff,im not a big fan.Duel Monsters had NO rules.I know that Duelist Kingdom shouldnt even be discussed,but even after that the changes werent that significat.They were activating traps from they"re hands,normal spells during the other guy s turn,Marik even fused a monster with a trap card(kinda like how Yugi fused his monster and spell in Duelist Kingdom).And lets not forget how Yugi s Black Magician sacrificed himself without Yugi s knoweledge in order to save him from Ectoplasma,which shouldnt be possible either way.I know that Battle City was a step in the right direction,but the game was still severely broken.Thats one of the reasons why i love GX,it was the OG version of the card game done RIGHT.
You know it, the original three are probably the best. Vrains so far is doing actually decent but it's barely started with only about 17 episodes concurrently as of my comment and it's alright so far but we will have to wait and see if it'll actually be good. Zexal and Arc V were below average and definitely didn't come close to GX or the other two.
This is something I noticed, but why does Judai have that amulet and spirit key in the ending, when he never wears them after the Seven Stars Assassins are dealt with?
I’m here in 2021 who just finished GX like 2 months ago Edit: and now I feel like rewatching GX again just cuz I love it so much. Also, Judai is the best Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist and one of my favorite anime characters. I just love him so much 😍❤️. Who knew I’d find another character that I can relate to and become so attached to, to the point where I can literally feel everything they’re feeling. Their pain and suffering for example 😭

I barely recognized him in Kiseijuu. He has a good range and could have easily been a main character in a lot of stuff.

Ikr. I was so stunned when I realized that this song was sung by Judai (while still watching the anime). Omg. He has such an amazing singing voice. If only he sang more than just 1 time. Would’ve been a dream come true if his friends heard him sing. Wonder how they’ll react. But anyways, I think it was at this moment that made me fall for Judai even more than I already loved him 😍❤️

@@Thisdude850 the run cycle is well made, the perspective for watching a walk cycle from the front is actually hard to imagine, the changes of facial expressions make it more intersting, the detail in the movement of the hair when he stops, the way he jumps and smiles is very expressive and then the change in speed when he changes from walking to running. Thats where my appreciation comes from, but I understand if you dont see it in the same way as I do. I love full body movements on characters, this is for me an animation that can be referenced for learning a walk cycle (front view) and then study how they change the speed, I wish I could make something as lively as this is, with animation is very easy to have something look just mechanical.
Also the choice of making him trip and almost fall makes the acting more fun. And in the walk cycle you can see they move the shadows on the legs which make it seems like its running across some place. I love those minor details, the person doing this mustve been having fun (I hope).

I bet this whole ending here cost at least more than $1,000 cuz one episode of anime already costs that much. Anyways, they definitely put in a lot of work there to animate and make Judai look exactly like a real life person by walking, running, jumping, etc

2. Sure, there was no riding duel nor was there any xyz in GX, but what's the deal ? Extra deck summon are a problem in real life, in the anime it's super entertaining. And what's with the riding duels ? They were the best thing to ever happen to the yugioh anime.
And no, yugioh Duel monsters got *their* rules right. In duelist kingdom, it was a bit special, since they did stuff that just didn't make sense, even with the duelist kingdom rules. But in the seasons that followed, they just used their own established rules. They weren't cheating or anything, that's just how the rules of anime worked ( Even though I'm a bit confused about the infinity + 1 combo Yugi pulled against Dartz... ).
@@bigfish5544 The banlist was created in the middle of GX.Since the end of season 2 Pot of Greed was banned and no one in the anime used it anymore.(and the card didnt really do any harm in the anime,more in real life).I guess that the rest is just personal opinion.Some people like the new stuff,im not a big fan.Duel Monsters had NO rules.I know that Duelist Kingdom shouldnt even be discussed,but even after that the changes werent that significat.They were activating traps from they"re hands,normal spells during the other guy s turn,Marik even fused a monster with a trap card(kinda like how Yugi fused his monster and spell in Duelist Kingdom).And lets not forget how Yugi s Black Magician sacrificed himself without Yugi s knoweledge in order to save him from Ectoplasma,which shouldnt be possible either way.I know that Battle City was a step in the right direction,but the game was still severely broken.Thats one of the reasons why i love GX,it was the OG version of the card game done RIGHT.

You know it, the original three are probably the best. Vrains so far is doing actually decent but it's barely started with only about 17 episodes concurrently as of my comment and it's alright so far but we will have to wait and see if it'll actually be good. Zexal and Arc V were below average and definitely didn't come close to GX or the other two.

Edit: and now I feel like rewatching GX again just cuz I love it so much. Also, Judai is the best Yu-Gi-Oh protagonist and one of my favorite anime characters. I just love him so much 😍❤️. Who knew I’d find another character that I can relate to and become so attached to, to the point where I can literally feel everything they’re feeling. Their pain and suffering for example 😭
