It's depends upon the person to person... Even I have done it by pursuing totally different course without taking any break.... With a right guidance, It you stick to the syllabus n doing regular writing practice it can be done smoothly... But right now it's time to focus on Prelims because Mains is predictable but Prelims is not.

No, it will be very difficult to sail through. Harsh but truth,
atleast you should have correct and all proper notes already made before prelim with proper understanding of the subject and it's linking with other aspects.

Having self-made note is always the best way to prepare for any exam but not the only way.
It's depends upon the aspirants' capabilities... I know many aspirants who clear it without having special notes of BPSC Mains, because the area from which question is asked by BPSC is limited.
Sir, I have Sociology as optional subject in UPSC CSE.. But in BPSC with changed pattern for optionals (objective and qualifying), since this will be my first attempt at BPSC CCE So I don't have conclusive idea, Should the same optional be continued here as well...?! Or what..
And in that case, what is the source for the BPSC socio optional objective PYQs and also its mock tests ??

Bhai...I have no idea about Sociology optional...
But I can suggest the common way to prepare for any Optional paper of BPSC.
1. Solve the PYQ of 68th n 69th BPSC of your optional paper.
2. Analyse the difference between your preparation level and Required level.
3. If you are getting 50+ marks then no need to do anything extra.. just fine tune it through solving MCQs.
If your score is below 40... Then you should revise your optional notes twice.
4. You can also solve the previous year questions of UGC NET/JRF.
Buddy, That's more than enough after all it's just a qualifying paper.

Right now, You should focus on BPSC Pre... Railway recruitment board is the most laziest board when it comes to recruitment.

It means mixture of simple, moderate n tough questions... Weightage can never be same of all subjects ...More or less pattern will be same.

With Proper guidance & by doing regular answer writing, It's can be done in next 3 months but It's high time to focus on Prelims. 👍

And please give the due credits to the material that you use in the video it is helpful for the students as well as the creators as a creator yourself you should understand these things.

For prelims... Resources are the same as of BPSC CSE.... Almost everything is same except opational paper.
PSIR Optional ke liye OBJECTIVE ke liye kya source he sir ??
You just have to qualify in this paper so don't worry about it...
1. Solve the previous year question and pick the relevant topics.
2.Indian constitution Laxmikanth/S. Kashyap,
3. Western Political thought by O.P Gauba
Or refer Shubhra Ranjan ma'am Notes for all
For MCQ practice, you can buy NET / JRF previous year questions bank.
