This is caused by an old ass glitch where if a chocobo touches a portal while the overworld area is unloaded it teleports in and out rapidly duping itself over and over

I was honestly pretty in the dark until this video popped up on my feed. Also, I honestly was not expecting the chocobos to be an accident. I legit thought it was an intentional prank on sneegs end because of how tubbo worded it on ranboos stream. 😆😆😆

@@classified8025 Apparently there's also a second glitch where if you let one into a nether portal while the overworld is unloaded, they clone even more, so the Nether ones were potentially an entirely different Chocobo cloning itself infinitely.

this happened on a server I was on, but specifically with one modded fish, anywhere near a river became uninhabitable because it spawned thousands of thousands of that fish, the event was dubbed the "fishpocalypse" and the only way the owner and admins could fix it was to remove the mod that contained the fish altogether (this also caused some chunks to just delete and fill with water at ocean level, and some blocks people used to build their houses to dissapear but honestly that's better than millions of fish crashing everyone's computers)

Frank girlbossed so hard, it generated a calamity worth an entire server with 256GB going down in flames and the collision of a separate universe (What I’m implying by this statement is that it even interrupted Ranboo’s stream severely and thus, causing the devastation of thousands).
This isn’t just the Emu war which the Australians had to push through and out of domination. This is something far greater. Something beyond godlike. It pushes the boundaries of reality at its seams. An insurmountable fate which may only occur in the generations of one in a hundred universes.
for anyone wondering the chocobos with rainbow feathers are the males and the plain ones are girls. You can breed them to get cooler ones that are different colors (black can fly, blue can speed swim, I think red had to do with lava?)

I watched this live. LOL! I jumped to Ranboo's to get his reaction, but even knowing what was happening, it was honestly distressing to hear Tubbo so worked up.

I can't believe it's been a bit over a year since the Chocobocalypse. The best part of this I think is that everything got blamed on Frank, when I'm 99% sure based on the description of the glitch that the true culprit was Not Frank, whom Sneeg accidentally left in a pit with water on the bottom while covering it up with dirt early on - around 3:07 in the video. Or at least I think that's Not Frank, since Not Frank was missing later.
Seeing this from Ranboo's perspective was something else. Just Tubbo screaming in the background and when Ranboo asks what's wrong he just says something about Sneeg, and crashing the server. Then when I looked at social media I just see "chocobos" and "Frank is submissive and breedable." The absolute 0 context I got back then was hilarious
