Yeah you hear what that music executive said after Take Off got killed, he broke the industry down to our people and opened our eyes up to a lot of shit that we was already kinda aware of and he challenged our black rappers to Rap about something different other than drugs, money and violence. Honestly this is what we need our rappers to do. It’s so much toxicity going on out here with our people and we steady dying not understanding the cause behind it all and we steady influencing the bullshit but as soon as one of our own get taken away from us then niggas wanna cry and shit, that shit is out. So I agree with what Young Boy is doing if he’s gonna continue on this path of rapping about stopping the violence, I mean shit gotta start somewhere and hopefully he influence other big rappers to do the same thing and change the narrative because our people are dying more than slavery times. Our people is doing each other worse than slave owners back then. I’m sure by now we done surpassed the amount of deaths due to black on black crime than it was during slavery. And as our young people grow up listening to this catchy trash as music they gone grow up doing the same shit and it’s only gone get worse so you might as well count half or more of our unborn black children as dead already by the hands of their own kind. That’s how toxic our culture is. So if you don’t want the person in that future casket to be your unborn child, unborn grandchild or unborn sibling dead due to black on black violence then the time to change and help change is now. I listened to this track when it first dropped and most of these lyrics sounded aimed at me cause I dropped tracks and one was on Glorilla’s beat for the track “Tomorrow” I named it Tomorrow 3 cause I couldn’t get my written lyrics down so I figured to just freestyle the track after I laced the hook down that was just directed towards an ex of mines ya dig just some art. So I just wanted to comment cause even if this isn’t directed towards me which I hope it isn’t I’d rather say something than not cause like.. ion know. But I peeped the comente said “RIP” so obviously someone passed so my heart goes out to you and your family Snor. Been watchin you for a grip.
