What is the numbered dial? Don't have one yet but thinking about getting one thats in the $100-150 range . Would this model be good for finding signal in clothing or backpack. Nice video and informative. Thx
As a suggestion, resetting/password changing a router at an airbnb or other such places will block any live devices that would be connected.

Hello. Say, I bought the K-88 model and I had a question about these detectors in general. Are these detectors supposed to pick up non-wireless motion detection camera's that might be hidden in a discreet area of a room? While testing out my detector I turned my Boblov c-18 camera on and put the detector near it and got no reaction whatever. Did I do something wrong?
@@tonyf.8858 No, these are RF detectors designed to detect wireless cameras that use Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. As an alternative, you can try the GS mode (Magnetic) with the supplied probe which can help you find wired cameras. You will then use the lens finder once you've localised the emissions.

To actually detect a hidden camera you cannot just walk around thinking your gonna find the dot you have to be parallel with every object you looking at

So long as it remains off, generally yes. But always be sure to check the rules for the airline you'll be flying with.

i believe most states have laws against directing cameras toward a house thats not yours. That means, your security cameras are not allowed to point at your neighbors house either.
And of course, someone not living in your home is not allowed to set up a camera pointing into your home.

Now I will try to tell you very briefly and simply.
Close to my house, in my own garden, is a big tree and a secret at night when everyone is sleeping, someone has a very small little camera on it and I feel like I’m watching me from there. I want to know if this person can see into the interior through the window of my house?
It’s okay that many states prohibit the placement of secret cameras, but the authorities don’t know what’s going on on my own property.
I say go for it climb the tree and get it out of there. If it’s your property then it doesn’t matter chop it burn it or climb it lol if I thought someone had a camera in my tree I wouldn’t wait for the detector I would get it out now or at least run an investigation on if there’s one up there or not. Good luck let a us now how it works out.
I'm glad you fully understood what the problem was, thanks. The trees are in my garden, three huge trees. What you are advising would be a good solution, the only problem is that I am an older woman who can no longer climb trees. :) It's just good now that it's winter and there are no leaves, because it would be almost impossible to see a tiny camera among the leaves. Many is a small camera that is 2-3 inches in diameter with its lens. I should get a very good performance binoculars that might let me see from my garden what's hidden in the trees. Thanks for dealing with my problem.
