Signs and omens are one of the most questioned aspects of witchcraft and magick. What is a sign? What counts? So today I wanted to go very briefly over the ways of identifying an omen or sign rather than a standard event.

Thanks for this. Being a witch doesn't mean we have to give up rational, scientific thinking. If anything, I try to live in both sides of the house.
I put butterfly stickers on my mom's window in the hospital and after her death I always see butterflies turn up rather real or picture when I feel down.

Short it's science then magic, not the other way around, even in other fields.
Exams: study first, then do a charm.
Illness: see a doctor first, then do something magical to help it.
Love: first put yourself out there and try on your own, then try to attract more if it is not working.
We like to get everything magical, but the truth is first you have to work with what you got, before you ask anyone or anything for help.
Sometimes that's all they need to help you on their own.

I was just trying to get sage burning for a bit of full moon cleansing and protection work and I could not get a match to light. We all know the occasional dud, especially when the matches are older, but I've worked with them last month without problem, I tried two different boxes and 12 matches overall.
And now I'm torn between thinking the moon rejected me after I tried charging a rock with its energy (which felt like it was working) and thinking the moon or some other energy is trying to warn me away from flames tonight.
Yes! This is something that I've been struggling with, but on the opposite end of the spectrum. I've been afraid that I'm far too skeptical to ever accept a sign if it were to appear to me. It also stems from a lifetime of having zero confidence, and feeling like I couldn't trust my own gut feelings, but I could DEFINITELY trust someone else's witchcraft testimony. I was SO jealous when others recounted tales of their encounters with deity, and I started invalidating my own very real spiritual experiences. I became jaded and pronounced myself a "secular" witch, despite knowing what I had felt and experienced in the past when it came to deity. Nowadays, I'm doing shadow work and working on emotionally and mentally healing so that I *can* have a critical, but accurate eye for signs and connections to deity. Turns out, hating and doubting yourself to the point of detriment doesn't get much of anything done. 🙃

Exactly. If the universe wants you to see a sign, it's going to post it up everywhere so obvious you are forced to face it. It isn't some hidden code you have to decipher.
I just want to point out that you don’t need to be called in order to start honoring or working with a Deity you are interested in. Neither you need to work with a single Goddess or God, that’s not the point of polytheism.
I’m a baby witch and I’m not actively looking for deities (I don’t even think I full believe in them) but I had a dream a few days ago about someone coming up to me dressed in white and when I woke up I kept thinking of the name Athena. I thought I was just being stupid and went about my day but then the past few days I’ve been seeing owls in lots of places (like drawings of owls) and then last night I heard a real owl outside my window! I didn’t know Athena was connected to owls until I looked it up but I may have just been connecting dots that weren’t there I’m unsure :)
Also I never get owls around my house, I’ve literally never heard one at home

before you do magick with a candle, try burning a test candle. pay attention to how the candle burns if you don't do a spell with it. then if you do workings with it and it bruns differently it might actually caused by the working
Feathers, rocks, sticks etc that speak to us are gifts from nature in my opinion that our guides may draw attention to.
I've always felt that if you do see something that could be completely random, but it was meant to be a sign just the same (meaning the feathers etc) then you are going to KNOW it is a sign. You will feel it to be true. Some feathers are just feathers. Some feathers, even in a common place, come through at such a time that you KNOW you were mean to see it right then.
My candle was burning steadly and normally on the first day of my ritual. It went on like that for a few days. Then it started acting crazy, dancing, jumping... I was so curious what that means and nobody said it's because the candle burned lower and since the flame is within the container now, it's perfectly normal. Thank you for your explanation, you are golden.
Cernunnos came to me in a dream he stood in my door way i wasn't sure who he was at first but i looked up horned deity's and i came across Cernunnos. i've been working with him since. i love how straight forward you're about this i'm glad i clicked on this. i learned a lot.

I think beginners see signs because it's so exciting. It's a good thing to develop to see the changes in nature and the world around.
You're right, Hearth. People tend to see what they want to see, and they interpret things the way they want to interpret them. Common sense is a big help in these cases.

Finally! a very refreshing and wise take on signs in the spiritual world! I at one point even starting doubting myself for having reasonable doubts about some of the 'signs' you mentioned, because so many practitioners preach 'nothing is a coincidence'
A couple months ago I found a bird’s nest. I didn’t think of it as a sign but I did pick it up and bring it to my apartment at the time. A month later I ended up moving into my own apartment and looking about in it it possibly was a sign.

I keep tarantulas so I was honestly surprised to hear you talk about spiders lol I guess people just don't realize it's very common for spiders to make themselves comfy in your home? Also, I'm a bit offended people always think about spiders being a bad omen. Spiders deserve your respect. You don't have to find them interesting or pretty-looking, but seeing them appear doesn't immediately mean that it's the end of the world.

New witches are definitely not the only ones thinking that everything is a sign - those people are ALL over witch FB pages. My friends and I often have a good laugh about it. They need an eye roll emoji for it.
What a great and sensible video! I've been a pagan for most of my life, a Druid for a number of years, and have just started exploring kitchen witchery. I found your channel about a month ago and have been binge-watching. I take away something useful from every one. I particularly loved the one on magic for beginners (sorry, I have forgotten what it was called). It reminded me of some of the basics that I had either forgotten or had slipped into the back of my mind. Really, really useful content. Makes me wish I could sit and pick your brain over a cup of tea. (Not in a creepy stalkery way, lol. Plus I live halfway around the world from you.)

Humidity in the wick can cause popping, smoke, and uneven flames in any candle, free standing or container. This can be batch caused or someone used an older candle that has been exposed to humidity and temperature difference over time. Mundane before the magical is so important to keep in mind.
What I find for me to work is numbers. I see the same ones for messages.
This video, is absolutely perfect for signs. I totally agree with you with everything you have said. I have been Wiccan, with a very hard lean on the Celtic deities. I have been practicing for 24 years, and I would like to say that I'm very proud of this and I think every single Wiccan whether they're just beginning or have been in the craft for as long as I have or longer should see this video. i’d say the only time in my whole life i’ve only ever had what i’d consider one animal sign, which was a few months ago. one night i was driving down a road i’d driven near my house countless times my whole life and there was a very tall great blue heron standing in the middle of the road. that’s literally never happened before, and you usually only frequently see smaller herons in my area although great blues are undoubtably around. i slowed down as not to hit it as it was standing almost perfectly on the dividing line and as i passed it we made eye contact for a split second. i was so shaken i didn’t think to honk to get it safely off the road until afterwards, but on the way back it was nowhere to be seen. it was about as tall as my small car and i’ll never forget the clear look i got of its eye as i passed. he/she was definitely doing his/her own thing but it was so unlike anything i’d experienced on that road before that i figured the universe had to be telling me something. they usually symbolize patience and in some cultures rebirth, which is so accurate to the things i’m going through in life right now. my patience is being tested more than it ever has before while i wait on something very positive that’s come back around. also thank you for referring to spiders and insects as animals! not enough people do even though that’s absolutely what they are
The animal tidbit helps, cause I usually have these thoughts about red cardinals. But if I had to pin point a new animal that's been popping up, it would be a sloth.
The biggest sign I've had is the freaking moon. I've always been fascinated with it, being in the moonlight, and the list goes on. But the biggest sign was recently, when delving into zodiac signs. I found out that cancer is ruled by the moon itself, which I find phenomenal. The fact that makes it so is my eldest daughter is a cancer, and I named her after the moon. I started crying when I made the connection the other day. Can't help but feel like that is my sign.
Dragonflies are meant to represent control and I was surrounded by dragonflies recently while going through my spiritual awakening. I know it was a sign bc my parents freaked out saying “dragonflies don’t come out this time, that’s weird”. Life is strange hahahhaa

I don't look for signs I let them look for me. This makes it so much easier to be properly guided. My spirit animals appear in a very obvious but polite way. They creep into my thoughts, they will not be the purpose or focus of my thoughts. Imagine a fly sitting on the corner of your tv and slowly walking closer to the middle. That's what my spirit guides do.
Infact the praying mantis just came to me 2 days ago. I don't see my guides unless I really need them so when I see them I take it seriously.
Most of the time I don't know what they symbolize and have to look it up. It turns out the praying mantis shows up when your life is filled with chaos and you need to slow down, find harmony and live life at your own pace. He's exactly what I need right now! I just broke up with my long term partner and had to move out of my home. I'm displaced and scared, but praying mantis is here and I'm incredibly greatful.

I generally will not read signs unless I am actively reading signs, there is a divination method for example where you get into a meditative state and then go on a walk and read what you see around you, that means normal things around you will be part of the divination though they would mean nothing outside of that working for example.
I wish I had the ability to keep a straight face, as you do, when comparing a logical mundane act to a sign or omen. People do jump to conclusions, but they miss the logic of things all together at times. Blessed be!
Interesting that you posted this since this topic was on my mind recently. For the past 2 years I've been having close encounters with spiders (way more than everyone else in my family) They've showed up on my pillow, chilled on my wall, in the bathroom, and even coming down from the ceiling when I'm doing things. At first I thought that it was normal... I live in a warmer climate and I'm not good at keeping tidy so I figured that the constant spiders were there due to other bugs. But I've moved houses recently and they seem to show up around me still. I have a fear of spiders so I don't think its me desperately looking for a sign. I watched a pick a card recently.... a card involving a spider popped out. And that wasn't the first time something that like that has happened.
Maybe this doesn't mean anything and it could just be a bunch of spiders in the area... I just find it unusual how they tend to show up around me, hence why I've been looking for answers.
I had a funny situation where I was finding a feather every day and I was "oh, that's a nice feather" but didn't think much of it. There are birds all over the place anyways. So once I went out for a stroll (2 miles roughly) and bunches of feathers kept falling in my way, one of them almost on my head. So I looked up and said "Yes, I got it, you're looking after me, thanks". No more feather waterfalls xD
And I totally agree with you. The world exists for its own purpose.
This was really good timing for me, because a few days ago was Litha and I had tried a few new things. I personally align with a blend of Celtic and Norse beliefs, and I had reached out to Odin, Tyr, Vidar, and Frigg that day. I did it just as a way of reaching out and communing and building a relationship. I was wondering if later I had seen a sign of their acknowledgement, because as I was driving home I saw a lot of lightning. (Now I will say that during the period of reaching out to them I felt something, but I was also working on grounding as well). Initially I took the lightning as a sign, but later I thought it was interesting that lightning would be the sign, when I did not commune with Thor. In addition, I did accept that being the longest day of the year, and being a more humid day (especially for Southern California), that this was a natural event from all the humidity. I live about 30 minutes away from the ocean too, so in the end, I took it as a fun coincidence. This video helped clarify, not sad it disappointed, but I am better educated and that's what this channel is about. Thank you Hearth, this was appreciated.

I live for your rational, scientific eye to magick! I'm a very skeptical person, which seems weird that I'm into witchcraft , but you are one of the people I looked to to convince me rationality and science is not mutually exclusive to magick and spirituality. But I also relate to the idea that it's important to look for rational, natural explanations for things and use logic; becoming more spiritual doesn't mean surrendering common sense.
I think it's also important to think of the cost/benefit of believing something is a sign and how it might impact my life overall. Having a deceased relative who loved butterflies and seeing butterflies after their and feeling the love and remembrance of that relative doesn't seem to warrant the same scrutiny of "is this a sign," because it could take away the sweetness of just feeling love in that moment. But for deity work or trying for fertility or anything where the emotional impact of realizing it might not be a sign, this method of open hearted curiosity and skepticism is really helpful!
And its not just beginners, people who have been in the craft a while are just as bad for jumping to these conclusions. I see it constantly on Instagram who jump the gun and think everything is a sign from spirit or deitiy. Thank you for posting this, videos like this are well overdue 🙌🏻
This was by far the most informative video ever. They’re all informative and I enjoy every one of them but this. I am skeptical at best with signs. I always try to analyze. But like you said I have been noticing over the past few months a “sign” that has been shown to me in many different places. Not physical like out in nature. But in books. In oracle cards. On games I play. And this makes sense to me. Not just I saw such and such on the way to work today. They’re coming subtly but I’ve noticed. Thank you Hearth. This video is exactly what I needed 💜
Last year I had a butterfly show up on my ceiling ...it looked dead! It never moved in a week and I thought it was dead! Next day I was going to remove it only to find it flapping its wings in my window.

2. thank you for this video. You may check out John Beckett. He always asks, "is the crow doing crow things?" A lot of ppl like to self-centrize the world around them. People need to do more research about the "signs" they see. Typically, I ponder about whether something is a sign if I see it repeatedly in multiple media. For example, I had been looking into the symbolism of the color red and its alchemical connection with the concept of west. I had been preparing an extensive and intense working and didn't know exactly when to do it relating to "going west" and the color red. Obviously red is everywhere. But when I saw 3 women (likely strangers to each other) in a row coming from different cars, lining up in a path walking to the train, wearing the exact. same. shade. of red... I knew that day was the day to do the working. Because it was such a rare or unlikely occurrence.

question: what if an animal that doesn't usually touch people touches you multiple times?
example that happened: my dad had just died in the winter, and i visited him at his grave on his birthday, first time after the funeral, and i was talking about my life, and this random butterfly kept landing on me, i would try to gently send it off, but it kept landing on me. I was a bit confused and told my mom about it back in the car and she said that butterflies actually symbolize the spirits of the dead visiting and i started to cry because it could mean that my dad was visiting me and i didn't know it. I looked up the type of butterfly because i found it odd that it was white on the outside and blue on the inside of the wings and it was called an eastern bluetail and i kept seeing it all summer long when i have never seen it before and i tend to notice butterflies, but maybe i am just noticing it more because i know of the species now and look for it, or maybe dad is watching over me, or maybe the touching incident was the sign and every other instance was just that type of butterfly doing it's thing and they emigrated due to climate change for all i know, i am not sure, but it still feels comfortable to me if nothing else, but it would be nice to get confirmation:)
I try to only look for signs (in/around my home) as I'm affecting my environment in a positive or negative way; I should keep doing what I'm doing or change something. IE: I have a TON of mushrooms in my yard, looked it up & if means my yard is really healthy! 😊
Yep animals and insects “bloom” with the seasons and daily weather. I find the difference when intuition leads me to see something or it is something repetitive that once again includes an intuitive tickle.
I remember in my freshmen year of highschool i was eating lunch alone and a pigeon sat with me. I was just like wow this bird thought i would make good company. I named him French frie and i still see him walking around my campass.

Ever since I moved to my new home, I’ve noticed an owl that appears. Specifically, it appears at my window only. And it only comes when I am performing a spell or meditative work. Always seems to call attention to itself by making a lot of noise and then vanishes once I’m done with whatever it is I’m doing. I used to think it was only a coincidence but now I’m not so sure.
I agree that most of the time its not such a big thing, like seeing that feather on the ground once probably isn't a sign from your angel, but I dont believe in coincidences. That feather might be from a chicken, but if you don't see any chickens around you, it could mean that that a small annoyance is expected in the future. Its just a small sign, but could still have meaning just not as big as you might expect. Then again if you are on a farm that has chickens then its not a coincidence and it makes sense for it to be there. My point is that I don't believe its a rare as you make it out to be, but its not as common as most people would like.
I think you can kind of work out how likely it is for a certain event to be mundane or not - like, I live in an urban area, and it's flooded with pigeons. Whenever I go out, I'll see a thousand pigeon feathers, and think nothing of it. Blackbirds, magpies and crows are not as common, but still very present; a crow feather would get my attention for sure, but I wouldn't be enough for me to take it as a sign. Now were I to find, say, a peacock feather, that would definitely qualify as a sign to me, 'cause there's no chance in hell that a peacock was there. Granted, it is likely that it fell off some lady's fancy hat or whatever, but it still took a great deal of synchronicity for it to be there.
Also, in shamanism there is the "rule of 3" which basically says, you need 3 different signs before you can say a spirit's reaching ou to you. It means you need to either spot an animal thrice (including the mundane world, dreams, or spirit realms) or get 3 different, meaningful clues. I find it really useful to block the "everything is a sign!" syndrome! ; )
So, when I need a sign to keep going, I see ladybugs in a specific number or group. I dont think it's a deity, but I also always second guess myself about my deities. Is that just like, the universe talking to me?

I was questioning whether or not to keep pursuing my relationship and I got signs. I nicknamed him after an animal and I started seeing this animal everywhere. My mom has a necklace charm of this animal I never knew she had on top of her dresser, I see prints of it on clothing and towels when I’m shopping, and I see sculptures of it decorating people’s yards when I’ve been out walking my dog during quarantine.
My "signs" are things that are entirely unexplainable instances of things like precognition and the like deeply personal. I was writing about life and death cycles recently and used dolphins diving in and out of the ocean cycling in and out of life and had my day (that was early in the morning and kinda like a download of sorts i needed to get down) and then later in the evening im listening to a band i been into lately and he randomly goes into a visualization excersize and i did it and need to work on visualization anyway so did and not only did I have the most intense meditation and visual meditation I've had but as im ending it the next part of the album is lyrics talkin about dolphins. First of all the meditation was beyond intense and the album is an odd one I would never have listen to had I not been drawing n let it play I would have never done the excersize and an then add the dolphins to the wierd album when I had jus wrote about dolphins in this type of topic and it was right as i came out of the meditation. To me it was jus letting me know when i do my part magick will absolutely happen. I did this no justice in explaining it either lol
Btw the. Visual excersize was visualization of a candle getting brighter and then i filled myself with the fire light energy and then the filled the world. Talkig about candles as i finished comment. Kinda adds to it i suppose lol

We need to be aware of the "blue car syndrome". When you buy a blue car, or are thinking about buying one you will often see them everywhere; whereas you may have never noticed them before. It doesn't mean that all of a sudden there are a ton of blue cars on the road. Perfectly normal.
I generally believe that if you have to ask, it's not a sign. I know this is an annoying answer, but when it's a sign, you just know. And it's a little freaky.

i saw a solitary turkey 3 different times yesterday, at first, i thought that it was a sign since turkeys are usually found in flocks but turkeys nest alone in may which easily explains it!
the only part of my dream last night that i remember was a bald eagle soaring through the sky and today I saw 2 massive bald eagles standing in a field by the road. most likely a coincidence but i still thought it was super cool!

My biggest peeve on occult social media is the endless posts from people who think every flame, candle shape, cloud, breeze in a tree, drop of oil in a pan shaped like something, object they walk across, speck in a photo... It's clogged up with posts like this. And people will never want for dozens of people to support their beliefs.

Can animals/objects/etc be taken as a message rather than a sign? Like for instance, if I saw a butterfly, could I use that as a message to be sociable and friendly to those I run into that day rather than thinking it's a deity or a spirit trying to reach out? This might be more a matter of opinion than fact, but I'd still like to hear what you have to say about it!

I just want to say, I see signs but I don’t relate it to spiritual things. Example, I had a dream we’re a blind cat came to see me, I don’t remember much of the dream but I remember looking into its eyes and being really intrigued by them, they were like milky blue... which is how I knew it was blind. I panicked when I woke up because I thought it was my partners family cat and I didn’t say anything because I didn’t want them to think I thought the cat was going to go blind because I literally didn’t know what it meant. Later that day I had completely forgot about the dream and I went to visit my parents in law when their cat came or to see me and I said hello and gave her a pet. But in that moment I knew the cat in my dream wasn’t this cat, I think it presented itself as this cat because she is familiar to me. But my intuition kept telling me that it meant there is something going to happen that I can’t see yet, it meant something that I couldn’t see like you’re blinded by someone or something. Few months later my sister in law ( my partners sister in law) her and her brother had a huge falling out to the point were it effected everyone. The whole family, because her brother worked for the company her partner ( my partners brother) started. He threatened to sue ( he doesn’t have a case) and yeah it cause a lot of trouble. But then me and my partner were about to go for a mortgage and our car broke. So we’ve had to use the money we had for a deposit for a new car... I can connect it to something now, but couldn’t at the time. I don’t know if that’s even considered a sign because I didn’t see it multiple times just one dream, but my intuition is usually never that strong that I can’t go against it. When I was younger I’d do the opposite of my intuition and then say my intuition was wrong... I continued that cycle subconsciously because I felt like I couldnt trust my intuition. So I’ve had very few experiences like that until recently when I’ve really tried to listen to what my intuition is telling me. It’s a powerful thing once you get the hang of it and are open to it.
I've had blue and red wasps all over my lawns for a week. I thought it might be a sign, but no. I just have lawn grubs.😏
You will see more spiders before it rains. I assume so they either dont get drowned or they are hunting for food because thee other insects are also more active before it rains. Especially it seems before heavier rains. They probably sense the extra moisture in the air or some such thing.

Ok so recently I’ve been really getting into witchcraft and the occult, I’ve been doing heaps of research and I’ve come to a point where I think I’m ready to start my journey fully, however I’m quite young, but that’s besides the point. So recently I have been having very very vivid dreams of Aphrodite, like super specific. I’m used to having lots of dreams as I’m a very spiritual person and I’m a psychic and very intuitive. But these dreams were some of the most vivid I’ve ever had. Can someone help me?
Dream one; I was walking in a church then noticed a very attractive young lady and I swear I could recognise her, we locked eyes then I left. As soon as I got home I told my mum how familiar this woman was, then it clicked I realised it was Aphrodite (keep in mind this all happened in my dream) then I got scared, wondering if I did something to offend her. Then she shows up at my door, I get scared so I run away, she continues to knock at my door. So my mum has to answer it, she opens the door and suddenly the house moves locations and gets bigger. She comes to me and before u know it we start talking. Then she brings me to my room and transforms into an old lady with pale skin, white blonde hair, blue eyes a little on the plump side and she is very tall. Maybe 5’10. Then she looks over at my plant shelf and I notice that all my plants are dead, black and mushy. Then she waters them and they continue to flourish into beautiful red plants and a couple roses. (My plants irl died as well) then she threw my house and there was a party happening with all my friends. We finally reach the outside balcony and there are multiple statues of goddesses, Athena, Circe (idk if she’s a god or not) and some others. Then she brings me over to this statue, abd it’s a statue of Aphrodite. She tells me to put a cup of tea in her open hands every day. Then I wake up.
Dream 2; I’m in class and then I get called down to the office. I walk along a now appearing beach and notice a boy holding a pink rose, I take it from him and then Aphrodites voice from the sky says to plant the flower In the ground as an offering to her. Suddenly a storm comes and kills all my friends on this boat out in sea. That’s where it ends
Then in real life I wake up and I do some research, I google Aphrodite’s Sigil and find one of a circle with a certain flower kind of pattern, then I realise that the pattern is the exact same as the pale pink flower I buried in the ground.
So now I’m doing some research and wherever I look I’m seeing roses, bees, white butterflies daily, the number 5 everywhere, I’ve had more dreams about her and I keep pulling rose image tarot cards as well as the lovers card multiple times. They are all the same cards and they all jump out as well.
I just got my pendulum a couple days ago and it said yes when I asked it if she was reaching out
oh and yesterday I was doing a reading and I kept seeing turtle dove imagery when I cast the circle and in my reading. it was literally a giant turtle dove on the centre of the card, oh and i also asked Aphrodite to send me any signs of her during the reading. I also noticed a barn owl in another card so I was doing some research and found that the barn owl is represented by Ares. I've been interested in him lately so I just asked him to be with me as well. I think he was there. and i asked my pendulum and it said they were both there.
are they reaching out? am I looking too far into this? Should I make an altar or work with them?

And on the Super Pink moon this year while I was on a walk under the full moon I started smelling lilacs, which were her favorite flower. There was no reason for me to be smelling lilacs. There are no lilacs in my neighborhood and I've never smelled them in the area before or since. And Dragonfly's were my Nana's favorite animal/bug so every time I see them I think of Nana
This probably isn't a sign but the day before I went to my Nana's funeral there were so many crows and ravens on top of the roof of the hotel my family and I were staying at. There had to be at least 20 birds

After I started exploring witch craft these things happened: I found a cricket on my alter (I’ve never had a cricket in this house), crows started coming into my yard (I used to hear them, but now they hangout in my yard), I opened a book right to the page I wanted ... etc wish I had written them all down, but it just seemed like one thing after another for several weeks. I have tons of feathers in my yard, I have feeders, feral cats in neighborhood, and birds of prey around. So no, I don’t think they mean anything. I am still learning the basics, so no magick yet. Oh, I had an airborn fluffy seed float right to me, that has never happened.

I thought I was looking into things to much maybe but the other day I went for a walk and found 10 feathers and previous days I found feathers. I had a dream where I was using a feather, black in magic, and when doing my tarot reading today 4 out 5 cards came out with pictures of birds in them, all black. The feathers are black and grey with white I think like a magpie.

What about seeing triple numbers constantly like 222 and 333 and so on? Because ive had thia thing since the start of last year where i would just go to check the time, or when i would pause at a radom place of a video and glance at the time or in the street i would constantly just see triple numbers? It tormented me so much to the point where i would cry sometimes because it was so constant lol, it would happen over and over again to the point where i felt like i was going insane so i just stopped checking times, but it would come up no matter what i did to avoid it and at some point i just learned to live with it, but i was just wondering if anyone knows what it means?:)
What about numbers or letters? I see a lot of repeating numbers (lately it's 111 and 1111, not just on the clock) and lately seeing multiple license plates starting in HHV - all different cars and I don't drive often... I have a question - could the death of a pet be a sign? I have just started to get into witchcraft and wicca (I'm not sure yet whether I would consider myself a wiccan or just a witch, I'm experimenting a little!) and I said my first ever "prayer" to a deity, persephone. Then, that night, my hamster died out of nowhere - she was healthy and showed no signs of illness, I just found her dead in her cage. Could this be a sign at all or just a coincidence? This is the second "bad" thing to happen to me this week as well.

I have had two wild animals in my kitchen in the last week. For the last 8 years, in the warmer months, I have kept my kitchen door open from dawn to dusk so that my two dogs can come and go. Earlier this week, a feral black cat was in my kitchen and today, a grackle bird flew into the house and I had to help it back outside. Would you say this is a coincidence and I am reading into this too much? I find it so interesting. Thanks in advance!
