Personally i like "From wishes to Eternity" even more, however they haven't sleeping sun there, but everything they played there, i would say better react to that.
Of course Tuomas is the brain and soul of Nightwish but every member is a special piece of the band´s heart. And Tarja was the Tuomas´s musa during many years inlcuiding this beautiful anthem
I really love Floor and her version is also very good, but Tarja is just pure magic. Songs like this with her were the main reason i fell in love with Nightwish 24 years ago.

The First Era of Nightwish really had a lot of magic If you have never watched Beauty & the Beast (From Wishes to Eternity concert feat. Tony Kakko) I'd really recommend that!! It's one of the earliest songs Tuomas wrote and was featured on their first album. The entire From Wishes to Eternity concert is amazing, the energy of the band and the crowd and so many great songs they don't play anymore. As somebody pointed out in a comment below, The Pharao Sails to Orion is also cool, or Fantasmic III. I would love to see you react to those!! :)

You must check out the Over the Hills and Far away song from Tarja era. Can't remember if it was masters of rock or some grass pop concert. Fans here can tell you that exact concert. Same one that Wolfhunterz watched long time ago, drummer had that funky fan on stage blowing cool air. It was white and yellow. Remember that because it stuck out like a sore thumb

I was fortunate enough to see them last month at the Filmore Silver Spring, MD. It was a sold out show, and Floor was mesmerizing. I just wish I had seen them the last time they came around when Marko was still in the band.
I'm one not to compare Tarja and Floor...their singing styles are too different to my ears. But, both fit perfectly within Nightwish's material...that, in itself, is insane...in the best way possible.

The tampere version is better , the only version i know of the lisbon concert is recorded with a cell phone , and i was at the concert in lisbon 2016 , after wacken 2013 i saw nightwish in my hometown , greetings from Lisbon-Portugal
Nice, but you chose the wrong version. You should have chosen the version with Floor (the Tampere concert). Tarja sings it well but Floor puts a lot more emotions in it.

Nightwish is not a phenomenon, that has sprung to the surface in a year, most of their fan base has also lived through a time when this song and Tarja's emotional, clear voice are tattooed directly on the soul. ❤️ The contempt for Tarja’s interpretations and comparison to Floor, shows only ignorance, not only of the history of Nightwish, but in fact of the entire genre as well. From the beginning, Nightwish has been something that couldn’t even be compared to any other band. Completely unique. Finland is a metal country, full of excellent metal bands and there is a clear reason for Nightwish's distinctiveness and current sound. Can you see what?
Toumas wanted to play like acoustic or folk music until he recruited Tarja as their vocalist. Toumas ,Jukka ,Emppu decided they better play symphonic metal with Tarja. That's how it begin.
