      Please in a case where we're having double products which are we to use?
      I understand that if we have two products with one in gaseous state n the other probably in solid or liquid we're to regard d one in gaseous state as our product
      But in a case where both products are in gaseous state, how do we solve?

    Vol of excess= 140cm
    Vol of residual gas= 140cm because the product is not gas so it can't appear

    Vol of excess gas =140cm^3
    Vol of residual gas =vol of excess gas +vol of product.
    So there fore 140+320=460cm^3

    Sir what's the answer because some people are getting their excess gas to be 20cm^3 and their residual gas to be 40cm^3. But i am getting mine as the volume of the excess gas to be 140cm^3 and the volume of the residual gas to be 180cm^3.

    According to your question 40cm^3 of Hydrogen gas was sparkled with 160cm^3 of oxygen gas.
    I had
    Vol of excess gas to be 20
    Vol of residual gas to be 40
    But according to you it isn't correct. Did I make any mistakes in the question given? Because I am sure I followed the steps well.
