It amazes how non-NYC Americans are in awe of NYC just as much us overseas people are, I thought NYC was just another city for Americans, but clearly we all have the same buzz about it. I visited New York last year from Australia, and I fell in love, yes the energy is different there and people are actually really nice if you approach them nicely.
I will never forget my first time in New York, the street vendor starting playing "No More" and I immediately thought of Adrienne and how ironic it was that I was in NY. I could still cry! Absolutely my favorite moment of the trip.

Going into NYC out of the tunnels is defiantly overwhelming. We started singing "Start Spreading the news... I'm leaving today..." at the top of our lungs last year when we went for the first time and it was very emotional for our whole family. We did it together as a summer family trip when our 18 year flew to France out of JFK for her 1st mission trip. There definitely is a feeling/mood/spirit about it like no other place. My husband and I are going back for a get away later this year. We love NYC!!!!

I'll be 35 on March 20th and I really want to go for my birthday this year!! My favorite thing to do there is walk uptown near 8th and 34th until I get to all of the theatres and Times Square. It's so busy and full of people and I love it!

I turned 30 in November and my hubby and son took me to New York. I felt just like her. I grew up watching Home Alone 2. My favorite Christmas movie. It was so special to me. I felt like I was home. Now my son says when he grows up he wants to go to college in New York. Favorite vacation I have ever taken.

Not true! I’m from NYC and all the places they went to were fairly inexpensive/non-touristy. Very local. If you want to experience NYC like a tourist, then yeah you’ll need money.

I turned 30 in November and my hubby and son took me to New York. I felt just like her. I grew up watching Home Alone 2. My favorite Christmas movie. It was so special to me. I felt like I was home. Now my son says when he grows up he wants to go to college in New York. Favorite vacation I have ever taken.
