I really like this whole system. It’s so different from his Prisma Visions Tarot. I love the colors and the basic photos. It all works beautifully together. I imagine the whole system will be expensive. I’ll have to see what I can afford this month. Loved your review and layout examples. That was very helpful. 💜💜💜
I’m so confused that not only does he have the means to do advanced copies of this deck but you were able to get one knowing that shipping to you can take MONTHS. He’s looking to raise (and has surpassed) $150k, which is an amount - to be honest - I’ve never seen in connection to Tarot decks on Kickstarter before. Granted there’s a lot included in the “box” but wow! Anyway, very happy for you to have these advanced decks! Looks like he’s cranking up the marketing as well; I just opened IG and voila! There’s an ad for the campaign 🤣💸
Yes he is a very popular indie artist in the tarot community their campaigns always raise a lot of money. I think it’s because the decks always bring something different like a new angle but it is true I think they do the most popular campaigns. Tbh the decks came very quickly to me because they were sent not via the regular mail I use for decks I order myself so that was like the best surprise ever haha. I did warn them in advance like be ready that maybe I won’t get the decks till next year because I live in the middle of nowhere so they super kindly found another way to send them to me for which I’m super grateful so I could get this review done in time for you guys 🤗 thank you so much for watching !
I finally got to sit down and watch this video lol. I'm in love with the tarot and oracle 💚 And I'm glad I'm not the only one who enjoys a chunky oracle 😊🥰
First and foremost that Willow diorama storage box! 😍 That alone is almost selling me on buying the whole box set! 🙈😂 James really is such a wonderful artist who takes such meticulous care in creating his decks. I love how the images flow into each other, such story telling in the tarot deck in particular which is so enchanting to see as well as really helping us draw connections between the cards. (Also omg those elephants! 🥺🐘) This was such a wonderful walkthrough, it was so cool to see the whole set and especially to have your insights - always such a joy , we need a Marine Musings on every deck! You’ve shown me such cool ways to use decks and highlighted things I’d never noticed before in so many you’ve spoken on and in our chats, so deck creators get to sending this illuminating Aries goddess more decks to review! ☺️🌳💙

So overall, I love this set and is so fantastic if people want to get into all of these different types of decks but together. Love the colour aspect because I love reading based on colour in some decks, so that's great that the creator added that aspect. The decks, boxes, big book, box set look like it's really well made and good quality. I think my only thing is that the box set is $204 CAD in the early bird and $225 CAD, like I would never be able to afford that unfortunately and I don't even know what the shipping looks like. Each individual deck ranges from $40 CAD to $55 CAD And don't get me wrong I completely understand why it's the price it is but I guess I'll just have to live vicariously through others. 🤣 Guess I'll have to wait until I win the lotto!🤞🤞

Prices are Increasing more and more especially for us not based in the US these last couple of years with shipping and taxes decks can be a big budget it is definitely something to take into consideration. Like I was saying under your releases video, even mass market decks are going up soo much so I can’t imagine for indie how much more they have to pay too so it in turns impacts us too. 40:01 I just started learning lenormand and I love it. Combinations are still tricky and I'm still working through learning the meanings but it has been fun. I do love this deck and I really love the alternative cards that can be used, which is great and modern!
Aww I’m so glad you’re enjoying Lenormand ! I have tried like so hard to get into it fully but it just hasn’t really stuck with me so far. Like I’ll use it for a bit and then just be like let me go to tarot haha but I want to give it another shot and I think this is a good resource for it
@@thewavesofyoursoul Yeah, it's a full study imo and needs a lot of time to be dedicated to. But what has helped me is actually doing practice readings. I did a 9 card lenormand spread last month that I talked about in my August reflections I believe and wow, it took me two days to go through all the pairings and combinations and to finally get a final interpretation 🤣🤣 I think I'll be sticking to 3 cards for now.
Bonjour! This is so thoughtful and beautiful. I like the interconnectedness of the decks, the depth of the guidebooks and the concepts within concepts (like each oracle has its 'quirks', the resources offered, etc), it is very interesting. I have never touched a Lenormand, it doesn't attract me very much, I see the Brazilian readers I follow on Instagram seem to prefer it (if I am not wrong, an auntie of mine also reads them, I just remembered she used to wake up early to read cards, have tea and smoke, I loved that ritual and I just realised I also do it - minus the smoking 😅!), so I am not sure I would read with the 4 decks but who knows? The art is beautiful, I guess that it would take me a while to connect with the decks because the aesthetics has more a visual than an intuitive impact on me at first sight but I am sure it would happen! 48:05 I love this a lot. I've been learning runes with a set of runes that my friend made me as well with a newer set I received from Running Press for review, and I love it. I also got an oracle deck to use as a reference because it was hard with just the symbols. Love that they put pronunciation because I suck and pronouncing the runes. But the pronunciation is slightly different from what I've seen so that kind of makes it confusing 😅
