- This week SABC Elections 360 debates energy and electricity issues affecting South Africans. We are live from the Kagisanong Community Centre, Rocklands, Free State. On the panel are representatives from the ANC, DA, EFF, COPE, ACM and ACT. Tonight's Elections360 debate is centred on South Africa's energy sector and who will keep the lights on after elections?

Very poor quality debate. It would be instructive to see who in the crowd is behaving so badly.
I was thinking the same thing. I have been following these debates and this was horrible. No real debate on issues just a bunch of people with free t-shirts and in cohoots with the political parties. It might as well have been clash of the choirs. My problem is our issues are nuanced and require real problem solving skills not singing and shouting competitions.

The pple tht organise the seating made a big mistake. You can put eff and anc nxt to each other. These 2 parties are like male lions, once a young lion thinks it's ready to lead the pride it will fight the older one on every turn until it dead or left. So nxt time put eff at 1 end then anc at the other end then small parties in between.

The MKP always said they wouldn't contest in Free State because they have an agreement with the ACT. So that's the reason why they are not here. In the Eastern Cape they are working with ATM etc. Their main focus is KZN and Mpumalanga it's easier that way since they are a new party.
