Super information, which should be talked about very frequently in the hobby. But many don't listen at all. Such things happen earlier in the case of Iridescent sharks (freshwater aquarium sharks), as they became an invasive species. Now, such shark is sold as Basa fish in the fish market and hotels. The same story goes to Pacu(sub species of Pirana). :(

i dont recommed using common pleco in your tank instead i recommend using snails kuhli loaches otocinlus bristlenose plecos hill steram loach there are some plecos that will stay small

I don't know whether it's an option or not just sharing my view. I have heard that in some foreign countries if the population of some species goes high the government will approve on hunting that species by conducting a competition to get the population in control. May be this could a solution...but Not sure :) Cherrs!!!

Bro I have many 2 feet fishes in a 4 feet aquarium, I tried to give them back to the shop but they didn't take. so I tried to give them to some other hobbyist but no one has a larger tank. I buyed them when I was studying 10th and didn't have knowledge on fishes. What iam trying to tell is shopkeeper must not try to blindly sell them to you, but atleast give you some knowledge or a warning about them.

My 2 fishes (red cap woranda and a black telescope) dead after adding PLACO FISH .....its size is big, 2times the woranda fish.
I think that...
PLACO FISH may be a reason for the death of 2 fishes..
Now another telescope fish is look like sick ,it is sitting down and not able to swim well...

It feeds/sits on weak fishes ... If they dont get food, then they start to attack them....
