I’ve had 2 dreams the past two weeks. I was driving a vehicle and both times i could not get the vehicle to stop. I was napping on the sofa, and both times I was extending my leg off the sofa to stop by stepping on the brakes. Once the brakes wouldn’t work, and the second dream the brake petal was literally gone! I was so terrified it woke me up both times. I am a Christian and I’m not sure if God was trying to tell me something or not. Is Ezekiel 38 and 39 about to take place and not stop till they reach Israel? Gog is a name or a title for the antichrist like the little horn, beast, etc. Eze 38:17 - “ ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You are the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them.“ Where else in the Bible do the prophets talk about a last days pre-tribulation foe of Israel? You won’t find any. Ezekiel was simply complementing what Daniel, Isaiah, and others. Another point is that the war ends with the Jewish people and the nations acknowledging the true God and God declaring that He will not allow His Holy Name to be profaned anymore. So it cannot be a pre-tribulation figure because during that time profaning will be happening at maximum level. I can go on. Eze 39:7 - “ ‘I will make known my holy name among my people Israel. I will no longer let my holy name be profaned, and the nations will know that I the LORD am the Holy One in Israel.” Gog is the antichrist and Magog is in modern day Turkey. I believe that in a video he has on the channel Zions hope he said that yes they must be. He said that to see ot you should compare revelation 16-19 and Ezekiel 37-38. When those two are compared it makes it clear that John is attempting to link Armageddon to the war of Gog and Magog
The battle of Gog and Magog may not be the war everyone is expecting to take place during the Tribulation period. Ezekiel mention this final battle and it is never mentioned again until the Thousand Year Reign and at the end of this period. So people better open their eyes to see what takes place during the Tribulation period, because you might miss out.

What is your evidence for saying Gog is a title? The Book of Jubilees points it out a a land to the extrme NE of the Dnieper Reiver among Japeth's descendants. How do these so-called "Jewish Experts" and "Israel Experts" not know what was written by a Levitical Priest in the days of the Maccabees. And for Japheth came forth the third portion beyond 2 the river Tînâ 3 to the north of the outflow of its waters, and it extendeth north-easterly to the whole region of Gog.

You should remember many scholars have different interpretation and you should study the word yourself and listen to bible teachers but then pray for God to show you the truth. Where does the prophet Daniel's timeline fit? Daniel 8:14 "Unto 2300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." That means the temple will be rebuilt before it is reconsecrated. Gog and Magog in Revelation also comes after the end of the Millennium (Rev 20:7-8).

If Gog is destroyed in Ezekiel 39:4 ("Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel") how can he be alive after the thousand year reign of Christ mentioned in Revelation. 20:7-9? Also, you mentioned that the invasion of Israel in Ezekiel and Revelations are not the same. You never elaborated on the differences. In fact the two invasions are very similar. Both prophecies mention Gog as the leader of this invading army that attacks Israel, Jerusalem, the beloved city. Both armies are made of nations that are innumerable ("many people", as a cloud to cover the land", "as the sand of the sea".) I'm curious though, wouldn't Paul also be diverting our view from Christ to Antichrist in 2 thessalonians 2? Antichrist is important because it he the Lord Himself will destroy at his coming, as well as he will be the final Pharoah in the prophetic timeline. Where in Ezekiel does it say that this invasion of Israel occurs before the return of Christ? There is no mention of the return of Christ in Ezekiel 36, 37, 38 & 39. That is just an opinion not supported by prophecy.

Is seems Gog is one of the sons of God judged in psalms 82 to whom God charged with running/managing certain pieces of the earth after they were divided up at the tower of babel. A regular human cant show up in the current and latter days (end times). God judged them in Psalms 82 and said that they will die like men for how they managed the nations and Ezekiel 39: 10 apparently provides the prophecy account of Gog dieing like a man and gets buried like a man in the later days (place to be called Harmon Gog which means alley of the multitudes of Gog) after the devil/dragon is released from the pit post his 1000 years in the pit... The devil/dragon compels the nations and Gog to go against Israel and Gog gets crushed. One of the replies to my comments stated that there are two Gog and Magog Wars. the Armageddon War and the war after the Thousand-Year reign with Christ in Revelations 20 verse 7 through first 9. That would explain why people are talking about Ezekiel 38 and chapter 39 and it doesn't fit with Revelation 20 verses 7 through verse 9
The fall of Babylon is also repeated. The fall of Babylon in Jeremiah’s day foreshadows the fall of Babylon at the end before the return of Christ. Jeremiah uses the Babylon invasion to illustrate the future one in revelation. One event foreshadows another, prophesy is pattern. It’s likely that the Gog/ Magog war of revelation which is AFTER the millennium, has an earlier war in type, as Ezekiel shows. But only time will tell.

When I read Revelation 20 verse 7 through verse 9, it says, now when the Thousand- years have expired, Satan will be released from his prison and we'll go out to deceive the Nations which are in the four corners of the Earth. Gog is a name or a title for the antichrist like the little horn, beast, etc.
Eze 38:17 - “ ‘This is what the Sovereign LORD says: You are the one I spoke of in former days by my servants the prophets of Israel. At that time they prophesied for years that I would bring you against them.“
Where else in the Bible do the prophets talk about a last days pre-tribulation foe of Israel? You won’t find any. Ezekiel was simply complementing what Daniel, Isaiah, and others.
Another point is that the war ends with the Jewish people and the nations acknowledging the true God and God declaring that He will not allow His Holy Name to be profaned anymore. So it cannot be a pre-tribulation figure because during that time profaning will be happening at maximum level. I can go on.

- Christians have had in mind and talked about Jesus´second comming and his "thousand year Kingdom on earth. Howevere he said his Kingdom was not of this world. I believe that in a video he has on the channel Zions hope he said that yes they must be. He said that to see ot you should compare revelation 16-19 and Ezekiel 37-38. When those two are compared it makes it clear that John is attempting to link Armageddon to the war of Gog and Magog
The battle of Gog and Magog may not be the war everyone is expecting to take place during the Tribulation period. Ezekiel mention this final battle and it is never mentioned again until the Thousand Year Reign and at the end of this period.
So people better open their eyes to see what takes place during the Tribulation period, because you might miss out.

What is your evidence for saying Gog is a title? The Book of Jubilees points it out a a land to the extrme NE of the Dnieper Reiver among Japeth's descendants. How do these so-called "Jewish Experts" and "Israel Experts" not know what was written by a Levitical Priest in the days of the Maccabees.

You should remember many scholars have different interpretation and you should study the word yourself and listen to bible teachers but then pray for God to show you the truth. Where does the prophet Daniel's timeline fit? Daniel 8:14 "Unto 2300 days then shall the sanctuary be cleansed." That means the temple will be rebuilt before it is reconsecrated. Gog and Magog in Revelation also comes after the end of the Millennium (Rev 20:7-8).

My understanding is that "the generation that sees these things come to pass will not have fully passed away..." before the Rapture or perhaps the Second Coming. In both instances Gog and Magog and the invading armies are destroyed by God with fire from heaven. Are these not similar enough?

"Rus" and Russia" are indo-european words. The Hebrew language is a semitic language. Consequently a "Rosh /Russia" equation is a linguistic fallacy. It's a false etymology. Additionally, aside from the Genesis placement of Meshech and Tubal in Anatolia, Ezekiels own description of these same places in Ezekiel 27:12-15 have them located among the nations adjacent to Antolia. The place names are thus, not the Russian cities, but ancient ethnic groups firmly situated in the ancient near-eastern geographical reality of the Hebrew bible". - Edwin M. Yamauchi
The same set of sounds in one language that form a word, do not equate to the same word in another language. "Chin" and "Chin" in english and Chinese don't mean the same thing. even though they sound the same, they don't mean the same thing. So Rosh and Russia, even though they sound the same, don't mean the same thing. Chin in english is the lower portion of the face, while chin in Chinese is descriptive of gold, silver or something shiny. Completely different because they're different languages.
Linguists will tell you there are 30 or so sounds that you can make with the lips, tongue, and palate. Since every human speaks, they have their own language, they are going to use the same set of sounds. But what they mean by the sounds that they articulate is not transferable from one language to the next.

Gog and Magog in revelation is an allegory of the defeat of satan. Revelation uses allegories, metaphors, Irony, Hyperbole, Smilies, and Metonymy along with pulling ALL symbolic imagery from the old testament. What these teachers do is get everyone to focus on anti-christ instead of Jesus Christ.
I'm curious though, wouldn't Paul also be diverting our view from Christ to Antichrist in 2 thessalonians 2? Based on the following scripture, will immortals and mortals both live on earth for 1,000 years after the Second Coming of Christ? Will there be renewed animal sacrifices in earthly Jerusalem for 1,000 years after the Second Coming of Christ? Will Christ conduct funeral services for mortals killed in accidents many years after His Second Coming? Graveyards needed?
Can the following questions be examined without ridicule, and condemnation, based on the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34, and found fulfilled in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and Hebrews 12:18-24?
Can the number 1,000 be used in a symbolic manner? Psalm 50:10
Does an angel with a key come from heaven and open the bottomless pit in Revelation 9:1-2? Why did the angel have to unlock the pit if it was not locked previously?
Who is the king of the angels in the bottomless pit found in Revelation 9:11?
Are some of the angels “bound” in some manner in Revelation 9:14?
If the beast comes up out of the pit in Revelation 11:7, where is the beast before then?

Judgment Before the Great White Throne.

Is seems Gog is one of the sons of God judged in psalms 82 to whom God charged with running/managing certain pieces of the earth after they were divided up at the tower of babel. Like the "prince of the kingdom of Persia" (Not a demon, this is actually a high ranking son of God, so high that it took a Chief Prince level Son of God name Michael -who happens to be the Advocate/Manager/Prince of Israel to help fight him so Daniel could receive his words from God ) and "prince of Greece"(not a demon).. .....Gog the "prince of Rosh ("of rosh" seems to actually means "chief of"), Meshech, and Tubal" (not a demon) these likewise...are Not "demons" and not humans, it seems to me that Gog is one of those sons of God that did not rule/manage the land "portion" provided by God (Deut 32) in the way God expects them too and got judged in Psalms 82..
Gog is classified as a Chief Prince (same classification as Micheal to a degree) of the Meshech, and Tubal nations. This is why he shows up in Revelation AND Ezekiel.. A regular human cant show up in the current and latter days (end times). God judged them in Psalms 82 and said that they will die like men for how they managed the nations and Ezekiel 39: 10 apparently provides the prophecy account of Gog dieing like a man and gets buried like a man in the later days (place to be called Harmon Gog which means alley of the multitudes of Gog) after the devil/dragon is released from the pit post his 1000 years in the pit... The devil/dragon compels the nations and Gog to go against Israel and Gog gets crushed.
According to Revelation 20: 7-8 Gog + nations including Magog dont attack Israel until AFTER the 1000 years after the devil/dragon is imprisoned. So it seems to me that people should be worrying about the "Scarlet" Beast before they worry about Gog.
The War of Gog of Magog is over a thousand years in the future. "6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years. 7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, 8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle:..." The "wars and rumors of wars" occurring now will lead to the "taking away" or rapture of Christians plus 7 years of God's wrath, ending with the Battle of Armageddon and the Millennial Reign of Christ Jesus
One of the replies to my comments stated that there are two Gog and Magog Wars. the Armageddon War and the war after the Thousand-Year reign with Christ in Revelations 20 verse 7 through first 9. That would explain why people are talking about Ezekiel 38 and chapter 39 and it doesn't fit with Revelation 20 verses 7 through verse 9
The fall of Babylon is also repeated.
The fall of Babylon in Jeremiah’s day foreshadows the fall of Babylon at the end before the return of Christ.
Jeremiah uses the Babylon invasion to illustrate the future one in revelation.
One event foreshadows another, prophesy is pattern.
It’s likely that the Gog/ Magog war of revelation which is AFTER the millennium, has an earlier war in type, as Ezekiel shows.
