Rob Flynn and Logan Mader hosting The MTV's most Metal show in 1997, The More Things Change album recording footage in studio and interviewing Lemmy Kilmister
Not gonna lie I was pretty uncomfortable watching it. Lemmy seems both intimidating and authentic, so a couple of up and coming metalheads may have shat their pants while trying to make the most out of meeting a metal icon.
@@jaydennis1999 same here, i think it could be baggy clothes that triggered Lemmy to be so intimidating, i'm sure he hated all those nu-trendz back then;)
I remember this one. I was 17, and watched the 'Ball every week. The host, Vanessa Warwick was amazing, and the show had some incredible behind the scenes, on the road episodes that, pre internet, were such awesome access to the bands. I recall this episode inwhich they chatted with Lemmy, and Tipton, who's solo album was out. I love happening upon footage of any episodes of the 'Ball like this from the mid-late 90s. Always takes me back, so many thanks to ya for uploading this!

man I remember going to the midnight record signing in London for that album just after seeing entombed play at the LA2, being so pumped when I got home and listened to it I was like oh my god this album is horrible!!!!!
I seem to remember being pretty bored with it myself. It was popular amongst my friends, played at parties a lot, but I could not tell one song from another on it. It was one big block of a particular sound.
Rob Trendchaser Flynn wait until polka metal gets big and we get the Let freedom ring with an accordion blast. Maybe he will take it all the way back to when they got all urban and hip hop awesome lmao
Bought TMTC when it came out and it blew fire in my ears when I put it in. The album gets slammed for being nu metal. Apart from the Ice T cover (bonus track as I recall), there is nothing on the album that is nu metal
Dave's a great drummer. But chris kontos u can't beat and he's the original. Wish they kept him longer but he didn't want to drum for machinehead because of the touring

I thought the Headbanger's Ball went off the air in 1995? Also, this is around the time when metal became boring, one-dimensional and turned to shit with down-tuned guitar, growling vocals, and subpar songwriting, and Machine Head is a prime example of that.
This is from MTV Europe, inwhich their Headbangers Ball lasted 'till late '97. I dont know how long the Rikki Rachtman fronted show from MTV America lasted until, so is that the one you are thinking of that ended in '95? The Euro version of the 'Ball was in general very good. @@hinjurock70 By the end of '97, This version of the 'Ball was sadly lost aswell. We got 'SuperRock' instead. Whiich I think was based on an American substitute for their Headbangers Ball aswell? “Let freedom ring with the shotgun blast” ~ best verse from a metal song ever!
Rob’s a liberal turd, now. He could care less about freedom.
The first CD I ever purchased, Machine Head's 'The More Things Change...' (still have it!), back in 1997. Awesome album 🤘🏻
Looks like dime and Phil anselmo went hip hop
Hahahahah! Spot on
Hahahahah, though it was a Pantera’s appearance while I was scrolling down
I mean, that's kind of accurate
Oh my god😂
You didn’t have to say anselmo dude we know who ya referring to
Oooh the 90's. I miss that era !
Seen MH with PanterA that year 1997 n to this day it was the BEST concert I ever seen!🤘🖤❤️
Yup. Think I saw them open Ozzfest outside of Boston 97? Pantera and Fear Factory were on the bill. I loved it.

TMTC. Heavy album. Crushes. The true machine head sound. Really underrated.
Absolutely
nothing underrated about them they are rather overrated
