Arsenal fan here and I agree with Craig. The Invincible team drew 12 games in the prem alone (38 game season). And that's to say nothing of their losses in other competitions. This Leverkusen team is 40-8-0! They've drawn 4 less games in 10 more games than the Invincibles!

I am so confused, how is this not a bigger achievement than leicester? Not taking anything away from Leicester, that was absolutely a fairy tale story. But to go unbeaten, the WHOLE season long, if we do end up winning the treble. That has never ever been done, not even close, and that from a side which was called Neverkusen, because of the historical bottlers that we are, adding to that, our first bundesliga, and first silverware in 30ish years. To go unbeaten in 48/48 games, with not that many draws, is just absurd. I know I might be bias, but I don't see a way in which this is not the most impressive season ever done (keeping in mind, its leverkusen, not prime Barcelona, Madrid, or Bayern). The only way to beat this is to the same with the UCL instead of Europa league.

Yes they are good but they also have been tremendously lucky too !
That also belongs to the truth !
I don't care what you say, as some say them beeing unbeaten for so long is no luck, but you can't plan for your opponents constantly missing even best of chances and you scoring in the very last second of the match.
Even in the last match as 5:1 seems to sound very clear, Frankfurt missed a few very good opportunities which could have put the game in a very different direction.
You also have to be lucky the referee doesn't blow the whistle 5 seconds earlier
Call me crazy, but i believe they will have a terrible season next year !
They have used up the luck worth 3 seasons.
