Installing

We added the @NextVentureMotorsports UHMW rock sliders to the 2-door Bronco!
Installing them in the garage with only hand tools is quite the task! at some point... we may need to add a larger garage/shop behind the house with a lift and more ergonomic equipment LOL!

The cooler worked great! Using a 2 post lift to position the sliders is fairly easy; but out of all the creative ways to do it in a garage you made that look the easiest. Thanks for sharing this!

Great question! I would prefer frame mount… but I ordered the NVM full belly skid plate system (also with UHMW), and then added the Rock Sliders to match. I’m guessing the mounting of the skid plates would interfere with frame mounting the sliders. I talked to a couple guys that have them, and they said that sandwiching the bracket and sliders to the steel reinforced structure of the tub would be more than enough protection with how sturdy the sliders themselves are. So we’ll test the crap out of them and see if that holds true!
