Grew up watching Cavett's show .Always enjoyable interesting guests. And by the way Cavett is a fashion icon. Such a nattily dressed chap. Always liked his sense of dress.
Well, Cavett was born in November of 1936 and this was taped in December 2014 so he wasn't 83. But yeah, he was also a pretty spry, energetic 78 year old.
The cameras need adjusting as the quality of picture between each camera sometimes changes and is visually noticeable. Also never have columns in a talk show background set as it often visually fragments conversations.
@@SJ-ni6iy I agree but they never should be used in a conversation. Even the two shot looks so awkward with those two columns visually in the way. More fundamentally: what do they provide?!
Metaxas is the most irritating interviewer I've ever seen. He continually interrupts Cavett throughout every story he tells. He just will not shut up and let people talk. He behaves like a bratty kid. How he got hired as a host for this kind of program is mystifying. The guy needs therapy.
Agree. EM seems to present himself as an excessively harsh class clown who doesn't know when to stop, for some reason. Doesn't seem to fit the essence of Christian character imo.
Cavett gets me interested in a story and this idiot keeps interrupting. The host reminds me of a little kid, who is in the way, of the grownups conversation.
Why is it that liberal personalities have a proclivity toward “humor by clip” believe the wider audience find their utterances actually funny? It appears they use punch lines that only those in their circle of influences find funny. Johnny Carson they are not.

He is moving and looking pretty good for an 83 year old
Maybe he should only adhere to looks because like the past they have no appeal in Nebraska.

I think the columns mimic the set of Cavett’s original talk show.

He’s irritating period. I didn’t watch it all. If there is therapy for turning someone non-asshole, sign him up.
