Weathering a Gondola - No Airbrush

Hey guys!
Today we weather a Wisconsin Central gondola car loosely based on a prototype. I don't use an airbrush so hopefully this is helpful to those of you who don't have one. I hope you guys enjoy! If you have any questions, let me know!

Shouldn't you put some powder in the inside of the car? That's where it would build up based on what material it was carrying. Just a suggestion. Nice job without the airbrush!

Thank you! No room for an airbrush in my military barracks room. Never used one!

The Train Fan .....this was exactly what I was looking for since I don’t own an airbrush and was hoping to achieve a good result without one. Thanks for sharing

Just buy a weathering kit from hobby lobby. $15..comes with Rust, Snow, and Soot. It's medically makeup.
