Almost a year ago, I lost my daughter to bullying. Ever since, I have struggled with everything from hopelessness and depression, to anger and resentment. if someone had the courage to stand up and say something instead of staying silent, she would still be here. Being courageous is difficult. It's easier to turn your head and pretend it's not happening. It's easy to mind your own business.
Take the difficult path. If you or someone you know is being bullied or thinking about self harm, get help. If you see something, say something... DO something. Be courageous.
Always remember that your most precious asset is time. So make sure you spend a little telling your family and friends how much they mean to you.
To those of you who have ever lost anyone unexpectedly, I am sorry for your loss. You are not alone.
