You have to be careful when you try to explain the Russian “intents” for certain operations or certain plans regardless if you know for fact or just your opinion because the Russian enemies can learn a lot from what you say simply because you give them an “idea” to think about the “possibilities” of a certain event. So if I was you, I wwould not say anything that can give the Russian enemies any “possible ideas” for them to think. For example in this vid where you were giving your opinions about the purpose of the waves of drones in relation to f16. Although it’s just your own opinion, but it gives the Russian enemies “possible ideas” to think. You can discuss all this after everything is over but not before. If I make any sense to you.

At its inception, the idea of European integration, then still called the European Coal and Steel Community, was a good economic project. Good from the perspective of Europeans thinking about building an economic platform that would help overcome historical divisions that have basically always defined Europe's bloody national-ethnic mosaic. From the point of view of Washington's interests, the idea was of course very bad, because it strengthened continental ties, which at some point had to start weakening American influence. Although NATO is a military alliance, it is impossible to maintain without a solid economic base, so the Americans tolerated the project as long as they could benefit, controlling the flow of money, raw materials and goods in such a way that the economically strengthening Western Europe would constitute their European base for raids to the East.
With the creation of the European Economic Community project, evolving into the European Union, the network of political and economic continental ties underwent a process of emancipation from US influence, and the separation of the economic and military spheres became simply impossible. The increasingly economically powerful Europe began to slip through the hands of the Americans, slowly and naturally abandoning its position as a passive tool of military expansion and growing into a rival whose wings needed to be clipped before it felt like flying on its own.
And that is exactly what America did, pushing NATO to the East and striking at the accelerating process of building political and economic ties between the EU and Russia and China.
Washington decided to make Ukraine a military bumper, but under the guise of NATO, it harnessed the EU to the role of the economic base of the clash, de facto implementing Cold War scenarios of the US-Russia clash, for which Europe was supposed to be simply a ring.
From this perspective, the American defeat in Ukraine is of course the final nail in NATO's coffin, but looking at the situation from the perspective of European interests, including its Eastern European Russian zone of influence, it is also another chance to throw off the political authority of the US and finally break with the consequences of the Yalta Agreement.
America is not attacking Europe because it is strong. On the contrary, it attacks because it feels threatened, and this results both from the increasingly strong position of Russia and China, as well as the ongoing process of economic degradation of the USA, which since the end of World War II has ruthlessly preyed on weakened Europe.
The American fantasy of building a global empire, turning the rest of the world into a resource base to sustain an unbridled appetite for the illusion of constant growth and expansion, was born in Europe and burned in Europe on the fields of Ukraine.
The blade of American intrigue was turned in Ukraine by the force of Russian resistance and is now sinking into the body of a dying NATO. The fact that people in power in Hungary and Slovakia have not only noticed this, but have also decided to actively counteract the effects of the European catastrophe caused by America, is no guarantee that the collapse of the EU project will be stopped, but it gives hope that if it falls apart, there will be those in Europe who will be able and ready to reach out to the East. This time not to seal with an embrace false treaty leading to another war, but simply to seek help without which Europe will not rise from its knees on its own.

very well said. The US has been trying to destroy the EU for quite some time now (the UK and Brexit were part of that). The Ukraine war (including the destruction of the gaseoduct and the sanctions that harmed much more Europe than Russia) has been used exactly for that. It is a pity that the leaders of the EU have fallen for that. In the end, Russia and US will be victorious, on their own ways, and the EU (and Ukraine) will be the main losers.

Hollywood doesn't really do movies about non-Americans, except in special cases. Too many people know of the role of Stalingrad in breaking the back of the Wehrmacht, so that couldn't easily be swept under the rug, so the only way they could 'control the narrative' (since it was not possible to bury the fact) was through a fictionalized account that uses cheap psychological tricks to poison the minds of its audience against the actual heroic defenders. In this case, since there are no real American connection, it will be easily swept under the rug of what passes for the American consciousness, which is already fractured beyond repair, and exhibits a classic type of attention deficit disorder. Don't expect any films from Hollywood about this, once the dust settles. They're going to want to hush this one up and "move on", I think. Finally, we can all watch just how desperate the USA, really is today, as what could the F-16 achieve in Ukrainian airspace, today? Or in fact, more to the point, how long could an F-16 survive in Ukrainian airspace? I'd have to guestimate the F-16, would have a combat life expectancy, of less than 30 minutes over Ukraine.
You really only need to understand what it would be facing, and regardless, that we already know the F-16 can't survive the S-300 anti-air defences, it would then need to survive for a quick example, the SU-35E. So, just how could an F-16 survive, is the only real question that matters?
We only see a lack of any understanding, today, relating to the F-16's actual capabilities, while on the other hand we know the SU-35E, is classified a "4++ Generation Fighter" (though its true capabilities go well beyond the original/current crop of 4 & 4+ Generation mounts), like the F-15, F-16, F-18, Eurofighter Typhoon, French Dassault Rafael etc.
The SU-35E has a forward and rear-facing Phazotron radar system, that's capable of simultaneous tracking of 34 targets, up to 92 miles, (even over extremely uneven terrain). Its cockpit design contains a colour CRT display unit, as well as HUD (Head-Up Display unit), along with digital fly-by-wire (FBW) capability, equipped with quadruple redundancy, (the onboard computers will always find four different ways to achieve the desired results, of its combat mission). Its avionics also include an Irbis-E passive phased array radar system.
The SU-35E, only falls short of the standard adopted for true 5th Generation, by its lack of stealth. Yet, as we've all seen, the SU-35E's tactical value has increased massively, and its overall combat ability, has broadened considerably.
Meaning, the F-16, is, in effect, an obsolete, unusable aircraft in Ukraine, (and in every way imaginable), and the US must know this, really. And that shows us all, the real level of desperation we are really seeing from the USA, today.
The F16s are old models that NATO had retired and was about to scrap. Instead they sent them to Ukraine and Russia will be happy to scrap them all

As ex Airforce servicemen, we know that the f16 is no match to the much more advanced and powerful Russian jets and airdefences of the Russian Federation Airforce.

It's always been the goal of America to have a nuclear advantage over Russia. When America developed nuclear weapons it was to try and contain Russia's power. Russia developed their own nuke shortly after. The US invited the EU to join NATO. This was done so the US could further contain Russia, and ensure the US has an army that can contend with Russia's. NATO promised protection from Russia because at the time other countries didn't have nukes. It's been this way from the start. Absolutely nothing has changed.

The Russians have followed the F-16s and they know perfectly where they are, but they're not a threat while on the ground. The figure of "89 drones" is what the Ukrainians said they shot down (as well as a X-59, you said it): there were probably many more drones than that.

The Germans in WW2. also used tank and aircraft decoys,,They didn't slow the allies and made little difference..
Decoy and deception were quite different, comparing WW1 and WW2. WW1 became a very new kind of war, to everyone's surprise, due in part to unprecedented reconnaissance from blimps and biplanes. Because any massing assault force could be spotted and decimated with artillery, WW1 became a war of attrition. By WW2 the ability to intercept reconnaissance with ground sea or air defences returned warfare to its former "big arrow" manoeuvre doctrines.
Now we see forces extremely thinned to prevent the relentless FVP drones and satellites spotting a juicy target.

Next .. the Russian forces seem to aim in the north west, and into Herson and Zaporozhye Republics, to liberate the territories, all the way to Odessa.
Some western commentators wrongly assume that the Kremlin may give back Zaporozhye and even Herson, to the Nato Zelensky camp. Of course, we all laugh at such assumptions...all based on fantasy, and some of Putin's blind analysis and mistakes from the past.
However, even Putin said 17 months ago, that all liberated areas from Nato Zelensky, will never go back. It's impossible, whe Russian Federation soldiers died in order to liberate all these areas.
Furthermore, about a year ago, Putin also said that at least 50% of Nato Zelensky held territory in Ukraine will fall to the Russian Federation forces. And he was adamant about that statement...as he has been under huge political and public pressure in the Russian Federation, to take off the handbrake on the Russian Federation forces... possibly because he was hoping for a diplomatic negotiation which may end the war...but that was just another one of Putin's naive hopes. The west keot swearing with the worse possible language, and throwing the kitchen sink at Putin and at the Russian Federation people, whilst Putin was still calling the west "partners". This enraged the Russian Federation.
Don't forget Seversk, Kramatorsk, Slavyansk, Pokrovsk. They are all in the Donetsk region.
