I like the idea of having two Nolox pane pins per window. Three years ago, I installed one window popper per window. When the window is stuck tightly, putting all the popping pressure in one spot, I'm afraid of the window breaking.
A very simple and easy solution..That was a great idea to put the fun music on when you started drilling. I bet a lot of air streamers will find this very helpful. Great filming and editing it was awesome!😊
Sweet modification! I hate drilling things into our rig but find ourselves doing it regularly. I have been using the old credit card window slide method for years. This is a great idea! ~Shanna
You have to love a simple fix! Looks like a great fix to a common problem. I’m with ya on the drilling gut check. I used to get real nervous when drilling.. and to be honest it’s not my favorite thing to do with our Montana. Good video!
Hey guys! It's interesting because we've been considering this too since we're experiencing similar issues with our windows! Jim, your tutorial on pane pins was excellent. Thanks for sharing! Jon & Seiry
Neat little invention! Our windows stick occasionally so understand the frustration! Ours open with a knob but will have to see if there is something like that to help 😇
Thank you! I get excited every time I have to open this window, lol! We plan to put them on all of our windows. I hope you are able find something to help with your windows. :) -Michelle
There were a dozen Air Streamers at the Tin Can Tourist Fall Rally in Milford, MI. over the weekend at Camp Dearborn. I wonder if they would like this.
Hey Lisa!! Thank you for watching. If you have a way to contact them and share this video, that would be great! It is a really great hack, and now I want them for all of our windows. lol. :) -Michelle
I gotta ask, just how serious/common a "problem" is this? Seems to me a an occasional lubing maintenance of the seals would alleviate this problem and improve the life of the seals.
Thanks for commenting. It is a very common issue with the larger windows, especially if the operator has little upper body strength. I’ve tried silicone grease, but the windows seal so tightly that it actually creates suction and makes the windows impossible to open. Silicone spray helps, but on a hot day the heavy glass windows still stick on the rubber seal.
Necessity is the mother of invention. I'm glad you were able to figure it out. Lynn and Danny
Thank you Lynn & Danny! - Michelle
Well done here friends have a great week stay safe and healthy 👌🏻👌🏻🤗🤗👍🏻👍🏻
Thank you so much, same to you! - Michelle

We like to two also, and would agree with your assessment. Thanks!

Yes! They have been a great addition. Drilling always means taking a deep breath first! :) Thank you. - Michelle
Great addition to your window! We have had sticking with our Apex windows but never to the point you guys have had. I'm glad you have a fix!
Thank you! 🙂
Great tip for the windows! If we become Airstreamer owners, it’ll be good to get these!
Thank you! I think it should "when" not "if" Hahahaha. :)

Nice work, we have a similar issue with our windows on our TT as well (although not an Airstream).
Maybe you could use the same hack to help? - Michelle
Nice!
