Although we don’t know what the dad did, given that Wriothesley knew enough about the guy having a daughter that would be left without a parent, I’m sure he knows the dad’s crime. And he probably is angry with the guy because the crime was something he really shouldn’t have done. Not like releasing a flying object in the city or eating a cake 😂 - and sounds like the man has a longer sentence than a couple of months.
This trailer... It's making me think about the time when he wanted to speak to Arlecchino during the Archon Quest. Maybe it's because of the orphans and he just wants to make sure she is actually taking care of them, not only using them. This didn't cross my mind before but now...
Fontaine has HP mechanics because Hydro is the element typically associated with HP. It also explains why Dehya tanks damage. Many characters benefit from remaining above a certain HP threshold, but lose health in the meanwhile. Dehya slows down that health loss. Whether or not the kit is good at its intended use, it's clear in hindsight that she was designed with these HP mechanics in mind.

This hits harder after beating Wriothesley's story quest Spoilers He was fostered by a man and a woman whom he thought cared about him and all the other kids but they were actually just selling them for money and the kids that didn't get adopted were "disposed of" as Wriothesley put it so when he was a teenager he killed the man and woman and freed the remaining kids and this lead to his imprisonment

Lynette's HP does decrease when you use her skill, Only Freminet doesn't have the HP loosing mechanic on his Kit.
