I've been raising rabbits for a few years now and weve used the meat in a few things to great effect. But I need to start digging a little deeper with some new recapies. I'm only 4 and a half minutes in and already learning something new! I had never thought to take the silvery membrain off but I might just do that next time I butcher one.
just getting into raising rabbits, decided to watch a few videos and found yours since most of our meat (venison) goes to grind figured it was a good one to watch. I have to say they looked tasty, even though that meat is considerably lighter looking than jackrabbit, guess I'll have to get used to it
Hope doing well with rabbits, have to constantly process young, I mix pork fat scraps with my rabbit grind, and I save beef tallow for cooking rabbit, Eve venison or other game, enjoy
@@cm5838 they get killed or die? Need to protect breeders, eventually protect some young rabbits to breed, but like 4 females and 2 males will produce enough, need to keep slaughtering like 7-13 weeks. For more tender rabbit. I'm down to 1 male and 3 females for now, just so much rabbit lol. If one is sick remove it asap. Don't eat it unless know what it was? I don't risk it. Idk if that helps?
@@cm5838 lol. Understand that, gets overwhelming 🤯, that's why I cut my breeders to minimum, goats are more fun, hard when grandkids get attached tho lol. Good luck👊

Thank you for the video I am going to make some rabbit burgers after lock down, and take care everyone.
sir, you forgot the most important thing to go in a bunny burger...thinly sliced carrot rings :)
Great👍, I mix pork fat in grind and make smashburgers too👍

@@ronaldyeater3322 not really, can’t figure out why most of our baby bunnies don’t make it to adulthood

@@ronaldyeater3322 honestly I’m thinking about selling them all and going back to raising goats

They seem tender :)
Please the ingredients again 🙏 😢
Why not grill em?
You can
Here you can starve to death eating wild rabbit because they don't have enough fat so I would put some good fat with it
