The major chords are the ones that sound happy and the minor chords are the ones that sound sadder. Example: put your fingers on D, F# and A and you have a major chord and if you just do the same thing with an ordinary F instead you'll have a minor chord. It doesn't work like that for them all but for E and A it also works like that. You kind of just skip a note for a lot of the chords and sometimes if you get really stuck google may be helpful... Hope this helped you at least a tiny bit!!! 😃

In don't know any of piano at all but he is make me wanna to learn More he is incradebly gud😊now what I need is ... Piano 🤗
Are you serious? Simple & Precise. Amazing work.
Hi Rishab,
Thanks for your comment! I really appreciate it. :)
-Jacques
I got confused at the major and minor parts
The major chords are the ones that sound happy and the minor chords are the ones that sound sadder. Example: put your fingers on D, F# and A and you have a major chord and if you just do the same thing with an ordinary F instead you'll have a minor chord. It doesn't work like that for them all but for E and A it also works like that. You kind of just skip a note for a lot of the chords and sometimes if you get really stuck google may be helpful... Hope this helped you at least a tiny bit!!! 😃
Major: 4/3 minor 3/4
As a piano teacher and player for a long time. I like how he keeps everything simple and straight to the point. Tho mastering the piano will of coarse take many years of practice.
Hi Martin,
Thanks, I appreciate your comment! :)
-Jacques
I finally learning guitar for a couple of months now. I also was thinking to learn piano. This video is very clear and makes me think it's very doable to learn both. Especially if you learn music theory.
Hi there,
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you found my video inspiring. :)
-Jacques
i don't have piano still i'm watching this 🤣🤣
Same here lol
Same 🤣
legendary video
Hi there,
Thanks for your comment! I'm glad you enjoyed it. ;)

What's the difference between a piano, a tuna, and a pot of glue?
You can tuna piano, but you can't piano a tuna.
Tony Music what about the glue?
I knew you'd get stuck on that.
LucarioPlays4428 nice one.
I'd knew you'd get stuck on that 👌
+ Hanaha Ha. Good one!
@@Rohan_Kishibaby lol
Thank you. I already knew about the 4 3 method, but didn't know about the 3 4 method until your video. Before I started your video, I told myself if I learn anything from him in just 4 minutes, then I will subscribe to his channel. I subscribed, and am anxious to become good on the piano. I am at level 1, and am learning from Noona Basic Piano books. I just bought the whole set 5 days ago, and am already on book 2.
Hi Dorene,
Thanks for subscribing! I'm glad you found the video helpful. :)
-Jacques
Thank you very much. You taught me to play the piano in four minutes literally. I stumbled on your Video last year as I was putting my recording studio together. The simple formula you gave, helped me familiarize with the keys and chords of my keyboard controller.
I put all your tips to use.
I now have six songs uploaded to my channel.
You can follow my name to get there.
Every sound in those six songs I uploaded was created using my keyboard.
I just came back to say thank you.
this might be a dumb question, but at 3:04 you said there were 4 chords to the song (Em C G D). but how did you know what to do with your left hand?
Hi Yre,
Thanks for your question! I teach chords in the right and bass notes in the left hand. So if you're playing a C chord, you play C notes in the left hand, and so on. Check out the link in the description to learn more!
-Jacques
@@PianoIn21Days thanks for your fast response. That clears things up for me a bit. I am going to check out that link.
Me: Goes to simply piano instead of this because its boring
Me after 2 years: Im going back to the video i watched 2 years ago
Me after 5 minutes: notices that the video was how to play piano in 5 minutes
Me: ...
That was genuinely very good. Subscribed!
Thanks for the subscribe Jen! I hope you enjoy getting started. You can also sign up for my free 5-day workbook on my website. Best of luck!
