Meet 17-year-old Kira from Saskatoon, SK for the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital Radiothon presented by CIBC Wood Gundy!
Before Jim Pattison Children's Hospital was built in Saskatchewan, Kira's family participated in numerous fundraisers for JPCHF to ensure kids and moms-to-be could receive the care they need close to home. While they were thinking of the other families who would need it, they never thought it would impact their own lives the way it has. Kira was diagnosed with osteosarcoma last year and she's extremely grateful she was at JPCH through her medical journey.
