I think the pressurizing step for the chicken needs a lot more water. This burn notice happened twice to me. If you get burn notice, pour in some hot water and use a spatula to deglaze, try to pressurize again
I was looking for the way to make baryani from long time. Can you please tell us how you cook in normal pot cuz I don't have that pressure cooker . With the measurement of rice and water to use for cooking. Thank u
I noticed that chicken on the bone is meat of choice for curries. I would like to ask whenever this is because it enhances the taste of the dish (opposed to when chicken breast is used), or is it down to just a personal preference 🤔 Thank you in advance 🙂🙋🏼♀️
I don't like bone-in chicken and so I've used both breasts and boneless thighs. Boneless thighs do enhance the taste compared to breasts and there is a difference. Also, breasts tend to get stiff and dry if overcooked.
Just tried this on the instant pot. Used my own recipe which is almost similar to yours. 10/10 very nice, pressure timing was spot on. Very nice
Yes it cooks in 3 minutes and 6 minutes. Thank you for making the video.
Amazing recipe and instructions thank youuu
Thank you so much! This recipe is PERFECT!!
How is it instant
I tried but instapot gives warnings of food burning, and by adding extra water results not allowing pressure cooking, mine failed may b my mistake

I had to add an extra two mins of pressure cooking at the end to finish the rice off but apart from that, spot on 👌

How many cups of rice ?
Every time I try the part where I cook the chicken marinade for 3 minutes, I get the burn message. Any suggestions?
I would add a little bit of water to deglaze the bottom of the pot, and then turn it back on to pressure cooking🤞🏻🙂
Hey great video, but please change the thumbnail image, I almost missed the video because I thought it was an amateur clip. Cheers!
That’s not biryani. It’s just over cooked chicken with chewy rice.
Im using an instant pot and made similar dishes. The process is definitely not making overcooked or chewy.
Biryani was never intended to be made in an instant pot. This is something fast and easy and delicious, just tried it.
