Dude this is so true, i live 5 hours away from memphis and i like memphis and i havent been able to see a SINGLE game, i also cant see hawks games. Its so painful cause i should not have to pay extra for a vpn to use the service.
I live in Denver, nuggets games are blacked out because altitude had the contract to stream them in the region, key word “had.” They didn’t renew the subscription, but for some reason, it’s still blacked out. So basically, if you’re in Denver, you can only watch if you illegally stream
It is way better to have someone with a cell phone on zoom in the nosebleed seats of the arena then to watch NBA Fucking League Pass. Sometimes the picture stops and starts as if a dog had clamped its jaws around the video camera. I only purchased the Warrior's games, and I don't blame League Pass for whatever is going on with Andrew Wiggins, but, even losing every road game, it would be fun to see Steph and Klay lighting it up in real time.
Oh man. I feel this. As a Seattle based NBA fan, it's just repeated swift kicks to the nuts over and over again. My local team in the Blazers (thanks for that NBA) they are 3 hours away if I want to go to a game. But on league pass they are blacked out. But on NON-league pass, normal TV, they'll just play local hockey games if there's an overlap, because of course SEATTLE tv stations are going to play SEATTLE sports on TV if they have a choice. But the Blazers are still blacked out.
it’s like that for me im from louisiana but can’t watch rockets, spurs, mavericks games, blacking out the pelicans i understand but the others are stupid
Being from upstate NY I feel you. My closet team is literally Cleveland 4 hours away while the nyc teams are 8/9 hours away 😶 thank god ima laker fan too that helps 🤣🙃
Bro literally try to watch home games in Northern California and it's just like why would I use league pass when I can watch cable tv or illegal streams and have a convenient experience like what are we doing
every time i am watching the nba on an "illegal" stream and they broadcast the "this broadcast cannot be redistributed without the express consent of the nba" i laugh a little
I'm from the UK so I'm lucky in the fact I don't have to deal with regional locks for games but there's no excuse for the bugs, the constant logging out is so annoying
What device do you use it on bro? Its awful on ps5 and Xbox, but ever since I started using it on the firestick I’ve not dealt with any issues in months. I’m from the UK too btw
I am from India but I live in the US (SF area). So when I went back to this last December for vacation I bought the League Pass and it is sooo awesome (minus some bugs). But then I get back here and suddenly I can't watch Warriors or the Laker games. I immediately canceled it lol. WTF you doing NBA??
Lakers fan here in the Bay Area. I signed up for one season. Never again. About 2 games were legitimately local and blocked. Fine. Another 2 were blocked because they someone didn't realize that Sacramento was non-local. About 20-25 were nationally televised and not available. No recourse for a cord-cutter. About 5 were unavailable because logins didn't work. About 10 were ruined because they presented the score even though I repeatedly set the app/website to not set a score. About 20-25 were unavailable because Comcast or my work network would have a router in Fresno (200 miles away), and they would think I was in Los Angeles. And it doesn't include the 20 or so playoff games. That means, I saw like a total of 15 games. I legitimately want to give the NBA money to watch my team. But they aggressively worked hard to alienate fans and make a terrible product.
I have a friend who has the League Pass and the blackout games are the sole reason why I decided to stick to streams. There's no way they really expect people to purchase an incomplete product. Especially when the Blackout games are usually the best ones
I have gotten it every year since 2010 to watch the Suns and it’s gotten progressively worse over the years. The blackouts are ridiculous for local teams and televised like you said. And I can’t even sign into my account over half the time. Not to mention Dish network is having major issues and haven’t been able to sign in for over three weeks now.
Also from the UK, was really nice when the price dropped for this season. But my god it's so annoying when you've got scores hidden and the homepage drops massive spoilers.
Yeah, as someone who can’t possibly stay up to 12-3 for some of these tipoffs every day of the week, if I wanna watch a Celtics game and I just see “MAVS TAKE CELTICS TO MIRACULOUS 7-OT” it just kinda ruins my day. There should be an option to hide headlines
“And I’m hearing the whopper whopper Burger King ad playing over just a still frame of Kyle Kuzma” This has to be the quote that summarizes this problem best
The blackout restrictions are absurd. I live over 7 hours from Portland for college and cannot watch any Blazers games at home. The Root app is godawful and didn’t include my provider up until a couple months ago. Why is it like this? Although, considering how the season has gone it might be a blessing that I can’t watch these games.
I absolutely have to agree. As an international fan of a currently not so popular franchise (Rockets) usually even the pirating sites don't play the local houston broadcasts and I get stuck watching the games with the opposition broadcasters, or sometimes just can't watch the games at all. If league pass was way cheaper and functioned better I would definitley see myself paying for it.
Exactly happened to me on the warriors game against OKC. The OKC commentator was so biased and it pissed tf out of me. I wish the NBA pass was more affordable I'd gladly support my team and the league
I don’t know how many PC gamers are here, but Gabe Newell, the CEO of Valve and Steam said it best. To paraphrase, he said piracy isn’t an issue of pricing, it’s an issue of availability. If you offer a service more convenient and reasonably priced, people will gladly pay for the convenience of having everything work. Steam has sales that offer you a lot of great games for cheap, and the games work without the bullshit of having to crack the game when you pirate it. I wish sports would take this approach. If there existed a streaming service that gave me all the football, basketball, baseball, and hockey games that are on and I can choose to watch whichever game I want, I’d pay like 40 or 50 bucks a month for that. The reality is with the illegal stream, I get every sport and all the games that are live so I can pick and choose what to watch. That’s all I want. I want a Spotify or Apple Music for sports. I don’t give a fuck about all the other channels that come with Hulu live or RUclips TV. I just want a sports stream.
The local problem is my biggest issue, they don’t even tell you it exists till you buy it, I’m a raps fan but can’t watch the rap on league pass, however I bought a month so I could before knowing this. I’m assuming most people went through this aswell
Thanks for sharing your gripes. I too have been frustrated with NBA League Pass. I have an older laptop but it can still do the minimum like watch videos. ILLEGAL streams work fine, where as it runs like crap on my laptop. This wasn't a problem just two years ago so yeah, they need to get their crap together.
Jazz fan living in NY here. The only time I’ve been able to watch Jazz basketball fluidly, with no bugs, glitches, or crashes…was when I travelled to go visit family and went to a game at Vivint Arena.
My biggest issue is that they put league pass adds every time you try to watch a games recap. Why the fuck I need to see for 28 seconds a league pass add when I already have a fucking pass
Wow I never knew that they block some games in the US. Being from Australia I never get ANY blocked games I can watch 100% of them with with no ads and I’ve never experienced any glitches or blackouts. Very surprised to hear all this as in my experience it’s been the opposite with streaming sites constantly glitching and poor quality, it was the main reason I got league pass in the first place and I love it. Worth every penny. Seems like maybe it only has these issues in the US.
The thing about LeaguePass is that it 100% is out done by streamers. And during the regular season you rarely if ever will run into issues with the streams unlike during major events. I pay for every UFC fight but haven't bought League Pass in years.
I live near Omaha and there are countless teams that are blacked out because I’m in their “region”: Chicago, Minnesota, OKC, Denver, Milwaukee, and Dallas. That’s a fifth of the league. Apparently, I’m not allowed to be an NBA fan. I never canceled a service so fast. 😂
Blackouts fucking suck in the NY area. I’m a Heat fan so if they play in Brooklyn or Manhattan not only can I not get the game on leaguepass, I can’t get it on my RUclips TV either (unless it’s national game) bc MSG and YES networks have THEIR OWN subscription service! So it’s impossible to watch all the games without 3 different forms of paying to watch, the third being either their sub package or VPN. Fucking madness.
Signed up for 1 season and will never again. Local games blacked out plus and network games as well. Be ready only to watch random noncontending games not from your area.
League pass is terrible. I don’t care about the issues with the app, anything like that. It’s the fact no one has cable anymore. I can’t just throw on nationally televised games anymore. Every Single Matchup I wanted to see was never on game pass. Always end up watching someone’s stream online and eventually cancelled my subscription.
I'm so glad you posted this. Im not even eager to check the scores every morning (as an EU fan) cause of the brain damage this app causes within seconds of use. Only to mention the autoplay feature in the NBA app is so horrendous that it makes me close the app altogether.
me and my dad use to live in Colombia and there the league pass gave access to every game in the NBA and now we live in the US and league pass is really bad so we can’t watch anything. We’ve basically tried everything but all we want is full access to every game but here everything has to be so complicated🤦♂️.
I entered a post and complained about all of this and then realized I was talking about League Pass on YOU TUBE TV which is much better than trying to watch the NBA through plain old You Tube. Sorry. But the NBA on You Tube is a stinking mess. Nearly impossible to find your game and lots of un-needed steps to re log in. You will find your game eventually and feel like a genius for doing so, because they don't make it easy. If you are out of market and it ends up being a NBA TV game I would suggest quitting before going down that rabbit hole. You Tube should not have taken this on without knowing what they were doing.
Regional sports networks are on the brink of death so the problem of blackouts might come to an end. Doesn’t help with the other issues but could be interesting moving forward
It’s also $14.99 plus tax during the season. Absolutely insane for what the product provides. The NBA needs to learn from the MLS. ALL games and 0 Blackouts.
If they just made every game quickly and easily available for like $3, they would make so much more money from me. Idk what the correct price number is for maximum sales, but I’d pay $3 per game. You are 100000% right about using illegal streaming just being a simpler and better experience than any other method Honestly fuck local or national TV, they should be the first league to go full digital
Why the heck should we pay $3 for a game to watch if we are subscribed, black out or not. It's a bad service. And asking to pay for something while already paying for the service is asinine.
@@dwightmanfreddi seems like you completely missed my point. I’m saying they should replace all subscriptions and TV packages with a simple pay per game model. Not suggesting they make people pay on top of their subscription
I am from Europe and i watch replay after i finish my workday. Sometimes no spoiler function is just not working and i see result of the game i was just going to watch. Also when I want to see boxscore streams starts immediately which can be a problem in some situation because other people can hear or i drain internet
I have about the same issues here in Ohio when I try to watch a Cavs game I could watch literally anything else besides a Cavs game. Very rarely would I be able to watch. Their app is also very sensitive to many vpns including my hospital's, where I work so if I'm taking a break I can not watch the games either.
Regional blackouts mattered when cable mattered. They need to see the value in access and the ease in manipulating your location to easily get around it.
I straight up left a false advertisement claim on RUclips about League Pass. As a Nuggets fan, it's infuriating having a black out locally and a black out through League Pass.
I've had league pass for 3 years. It's always been ass but now I haven't been able to watch a single game on it this season bc there's a bug saying I need to upgrade every time I try to watch a game. Contacted customer service 5 times so far this season and it's still not fixed. Such a garbage service just happy I got my money back. They encourage people to stream elsewhere Long story short, thanks for making this video Rusty
Bulls fan in Australia here. I got a 7-day trial. I paid the first month. When the 2nd month came, I forgot and got cancelled. Went to change my payment method and I was shown a list of payment options, but none of them are pressable to choose. I gave up. I have MANY other subscription services. That's how I KNOW it's not me.
I understand the necessary evil of blackouts. It allows the regional sports networks to pitch all the local sports in one package to the consumer which makes them money while league pass still keeps customers because almost every other team is available. What I don't understand is why certain cities without sports teams are subjected to such egregious blackouts. I live in Vegas and can't watch Lakers, Clippers, or Kings basketball due to blackouts. HOW AM I BLACKED OUT FROM TEAMS IN A DIFFERENT STATE. It's even worse with MLB where i'm blacked out from 6 out of the 30 teams
Bro I live in Europe, so I have no blackout restrictions. However, I still need to enable location services every time I try to watch a game on my phone. On my tablet however, if I do some random clicks, I can get around the location restriction, which is important, as my tablet cant be connected to any mobile network and doesnt have the possibility to even enable location services, as it doesnt have any. Now for the start of the playoffs, the app was bugging on my Tablet, I was only able to watch the lower 10% of the screen, so I updated it in order to see if now I maybe can watch the playoffs. Now since the new update, I need to enable location services also on my tablet, which is not possible. Now I cant watch no games. Thanks NBA!
Just another idea, but as you said most people just want to watch their local team. They should have a cheaper package just for the one team. I think they do that already, but you should be allowed to watch the local team.
Yeah I'm really upset with this. I just got it today for the new season and it keeps saying the same error when trying to watch the pre-season games. There is no where else where I can 'legally' watch all the games so I try to do the right thing being legal, but now I've just wasted my money on a broken app that won't play a single game.
So I bought a year of Lakers games in 2016, and literally all of these issues were a problem back then. It was such an infuriating issue I never bought league pass again.
Its tied up to the teams Regional Sports Networks so League Pass or MLB extra Innings will continue like this until teams do something different like the Clippers with their own independent Streaming option called Clippers Vision
League pass wouldn't play the lakers game for me yesterday and told me to watch it on cable because it's nationally televised. Went to go watch it on cable, and the network was blacked out in my area so it wasn't even playing on TV. Had to use stream east 🤦♂whats the point of league pass
I understand your premise, and I agree that the technology behind the app has no excuse to be that bad for a multibillion dollar corporation. The issue for league pass tho is that the NBA operates on a system that precedes fhe internet. Teams are responsible by and large for signing their own tv deals. This one of a teams biggest sources of revenue, especially in smaller markets. Moreover, local networks pay big dollars for these rights because it’s one of the only ways they can maintain eyeballs in todays era of internet streaming. Because the local networks have the rights to the game that the TEAM sold them (not the league), the league can’t show the game in that market. The right way to go about this I think would be for the league to plan for this in the next CBA so that they can buy back tv rights from each team as their deals expire and end this local blackout nonsense.
I live in Pittsburgh, so we don't have an NBA team. Closest team to me is the Cavs. Cleveland is like 2 and a half hours away. Because of this, NBA league pass considers Cavs games to be "on my local market" so they're blacked out, and I'm unable to watch them. Despite the fact that the games aren't available anywhere near my local market.
It does the exact same thing with the refusing to resume post-commercial on my Google TV; I found the way around it is to instead run the app on my phone or tablet and Chromecast it to the TV, in which case it runs fine. But yes, it's idiotic. Also hate geographic restrictions, but they're actually better in the NBA than baseball, at least for me. I'm a Bucks fan but live in a Minnesota county bordering WI, and I can watch them, but I'm restricted from Brewers games.
My favorite feature is when watching a game, it randomly signs me out so I have to resign back in to continue watching. Also my "local" teams are the nuggets and the suns. Both of which are 6 hours away. So anytime the mavericks play them I have to sail the high seas.
I bought league pass a couple years ago and I live in Ontario canada, and not until after I got it did I realize EVERY GAME is blacked out in my area. It was just a highlight show and ads literally no games were available no watch for a week straight, I had to cancel my subscription
It really sucks! I live in Brasil and, although there are no geographic restrictions (for obvious reasons), it's simply impossible to stream on the TV due to the terrible video quality and buffer time. On mobile, it's also a total mess, and it's only passable on desktop. And yet it's more expensive than any other streaming service available on the country. The have been many times when me and my friends simply switched to the illegal stream midway through the game and it was way way better
Same for me and i live in Denmark.. Sometimes it's almost impossible to watch games, this is the season i've watched the fewest games and it's because the app is so bad
Well as a Denver fan, my state doesn’t even display our games on our local Television. I got the league pass app to watch the nuggets, but the NBA has these dumbass blackout zones. This means if I ever want to watch my favorite basketball team, I wait until they get on national TV which is once every two weeks, or stream unethically. Thanks NBA
I’m from Kentucky, I’m 3 hours away from the pacers, blocked, 6 hours from the grizz, blocked, 6 hours from Cleveland, blocked. WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO, I DONT HAVE BROADCASTS THAT PICK THOSE UP
ooo all of these issues i have had. luckily im a heat fan in texas so i get to see most games. but national TV broadcasts and games against the spurs/dallas mavericks are when i need to use "other websites". The cherry on top is having to re-log in EVERY DAMN TIME. Also i know league pass knows my favorite team. it still asks me every time i have to log in which is all the time...anyways... DONT YOU THINK I WANT TO PLAY THE MIAMI HEAT'S BROADCAST IF I TOLD THE APP MY ONLY FAVORITE TEAM IS THE MIAMI HEAT? im always scared to change the broadcast because if i blink too fast the app will crash. i dont know why i still pay for this garbage.
I've got league pass in the UK so I can watch any game but I'm still so disappointed by how many bugs the app has. It's almost guaranteed every night I'll have to restart the app while watching a game because it's just turns into a stuttering mess. I would definitely not buy if I was in the US, not having national and local games is absolutely crazy, those would be the only games I'm interested in.
I am from Argentina and here I can watch every single game with any broadcast such as ESPN or TNT, but when I travel to the us I can’t watch the BEST games because of either being local or national televised games and that really, really pisses me off since I am paying to watch the league and I can’t watch literally the best games
I live 500 miles from Denver, 400 miles from Minneapolis, and 600 miles from Oklahoma City and I’m considered part of the TV market for all 3 teams. Thus, all of their games are blacked out and I can’t watch them…like ever. Thankfully, I’m a Clippers and Nets fan.
My only bug so far with the nba app on my tv has been trying to go into games and seeing black screens. I live 30 mins from downtown phoenix so the suns games get blacked out for me which sucks cause they are my 2nd fav team but i atleast get to watch my bulls without issues.
I'm having a major buffering issues lately. The browser app doesn't allow a person to select a lower quality stream, so whenever the servers have issues, there's nothing you can do, but try to deal with the severely degraded image quality. Half the time, I can't even tell where the ball is. It's infuriating.
I bought league pass this year for me and my roommates and we’ve watched like 6 games. The camera angles suck, the app takes forever to load, the audio sucks. So happy you actually made this video cus as it stands now I’m not renewing my membership lol
I was watching on my Smart TV and everything was A OK. Then I had to go out and switched to my Android Tablet. Stupid NBA app kept saying it need location information when all the location permissions were already active. I reinstalled multiple times and now it's unusable on my android tablet.
If you have NBA league pass and are trying to watch a blacked out game due to region: 1. Clear cache/data from league pass app 2. Tuen on a VPN from another country 3. Log into league pass 4. Once logged in, turn the VPN OFF (necessary because in my experience it won’t let you watch if your VPN is currently abroad) I’ve been using this strategy to watch Warriors games in San Francisco. Pain in the ass but still works
I have ESPN, TNT, and ABC so when it says inclusive of NBA TV or national games on ESPN, TNT, or ABC does that mean I can't watch any games on those services or does it only apply to the NBA TV app.
As a fan of many sports local blackouts are the worse, but it possible to stream every game and still have regional tv broadcasts. The MLS streams every game on Apple TV with no local blackouts and I could still flip on the local sports station to watch it. These leagues are just greedy.
And it's insane that the website has no way to show local game times (only shows eastern times). When will the NBA realize that not everyone lives in NYC. Basketball is bigger than NYC/LA...
The app is horrible and aside from watching games on my PC, my only option for my TV is to cast from my phone. I don't really care about paying for it, and I am able to watch blackout games locally since I'm close to DC, but the fact that I have to use the app is the worst for me. I would gladly pay what I do now for a solid app that doesn't make me pull my hair out trying to watch games.
As a warriors fan on the east coast, I got league pass to watch games while at work. Only to find out you cant watch nationally televised games, even games on NBATV! Now I just stream it 🤷♂️
Facts. I can't watch Sun's games because of this local blackout. To me, local means I can get it with my antenna. Bally sports (who just filed for bankruptcy a few days ago, guess that NBA deal wasn't that great 😂) plays the games here and this channel isn't local when I need to pay for cable to get it. In California, the warriors games are played on NBC. A channel I could get with an antenna and a channel I don't need to pay a cable company to get. I cannot get though one game without buffering issues toward the end. You pay $99, $49, $14 depending on when and how you get it and you STILL have to look at ads, but you can pay more for no ads and watch on two screens at once! Wow!!!
Here's my process. Start league pass, select what game. League pass then tells me that I'm not subscribed. I then have to go to applications, clear the cache for League Pass, force stop app, then launch the app again. Then it'll work. Also if I forward, pause, or rewind at any point. The game will now skip throughout the entirety of the game. Player takes the ball out, next thing you know the ball is already on the opposite end of the court. It's ridiculous!
Had league past last season. Almost never, (besides one game I couldn't watch) a bad experience for me. Could be a little bit awkward sometimes and take a while to load. But that's because I used a vpn and the website. I don't use the app.
I started with the bootleg links to watch games. So I decided to try League Pass. Can't watch my local teams (NYC) because of blackouts. Can't watch other games because they're blacked out for TV. I already pay for a variety of subscription services. I don't want to have to pay 60-80 dollars a month for a bunch of channels I don't watch to get ABC or TNT. (I don't watch Live TV otherwise). So, guess what? Back to bootleg links, which I hate, because of all the cutoffs and annoying popups for ads on mobile (which I'm able to somewhat control better on my desktop with AdBlock and other Chrome extensions). I wanted to give League Pass a try, but not sure if I'll re-subscribe because of all this blackout stuff.
Yessiiir. Blackouts, glitches, and I literally can't load the app on one of my devices...I receive a never-ending loading screen. Has anyone tried adding League Pass through RUclips TV? Is that any cleaner? Obviously it doesn't solve the blackout issue.
I stopped buying LP a while ago for these exact reasons. 1/2 the games are blacked out because I'm "local" (2.5 hours away) and 1/4 of them are on TV but I want to watch on my PC. Not paying that much to watch 20 games per year.

U wanna plug me in for those sites 👀
To be fair no one does a presentation to say we are fixing bugs on the app. I agree with the monthly prices and the black out of local teams.
This might be the video of the year, sir.
😢I just want to know the streaming sites
I wouldn't have to stream unethically if there weren't blackouts.

I live 7 hours away from NYC and they act like I’m getting the option to stream that shit legally somewhere
I live in Denver, nuggets games are blacked out because altitude had the contract to stream them in the region, key word “had.” They didn’t renew the subscription, but for some reason, it’s still blacked out. So basically, if you’re in Denver, you can only watch if you illegally stream

Glad someone said it! Not worth the money
If im correct in India NBA League Pass in US currency is like 2 dollars a month
Could be a lot better. But for the amount of basketball I get, we’ll worth $100 for a year
@@ThatNBAguy123 around 18 dollars for an entire season + playoffs + nba drafts and summer league if im not mistaken

I got league pass for the first time this year and I will say that I am mostly happy with it. I love being able to watch most games…keyword most
Most? feels like about 50%
yeah but the best games are always nationally televised and you cant watch games with your local team
How does it work in the us? I get all the games in europe
I should be able to watch every FCKING GAME.
Feel bad for the people that bought the 2k bundle
Also from the UK, was really nice when the price dropped for this season. But my god it's so annoying when you've got scores hidden and the homepage drops massive spoilers.
Yeah, as someone who can’t possibly stay up to 12-3 for some of these tipoffs every day of the week, if I wanna watch a Celtics game and I just see “MAVS TAKE CELTICS TO MIRACULOUS 7-OT” it just kinda ruins my day. There should be an option to hide headlines
@Rory Bro for people like us, it's best to watch games in the day, a day after the game happened. Not live, excluding playoffs of course
As someone who doesn't have NBC sports Chicago, being forced to listen to Bulls games on Bulls radio is a painful experience
I think they should add a live chat, it would add so much to rivalries between franchises
It also would probably make the bugs alot worse lmao but that is a good idea if they get their shit together
Have you seen the live chats on the illegal sites??
@@Nahaintnoway I like those lmao
the fact that pirate stream sites have chats and not the official streams is amusong
Oh HELL NO that would be WAAAAAAAAY too toxic
“And I’m hearing the whopper whopper Burger King ad playing over just a still frame of Kyle Kuzma”
This has to be the quote that summarizes this problem best
Blocking local games was an absolute dealbreaker for me.
You're right...its like if there was an Oakland A's app 😂
You heard it here, boys. Time to set your VPN destination to Australia!
6 hours from Memphis, and get blacked out and the app is trash on the phone and TV
Don’t forget espn games are blocked to not step on the toes of espn+ which doesn’t make sense
My biggest issue with the app is that I watch on my phone, and almost every time I go from landscape to portrait mode, the stream completely crashes.
Everything sucks in NBA rn, Adam silver is frustrating
me and my dad use to live in Colombia and there the league pass gave access to every game in the NBA and now we live in the US and league pass is really bad so we can’t watch anything. We’ve basically tried everything but all we want is full access to every game but here everything has to be so complicated🤦♂️.
Use a vpn should work
Every time someone talks about league pass, I think back to that take that the Inside Guys were clowning the Lakers vs Bucks for being $6.99
I would gladly pay any amount to watch the hornets. I live 1 hour from Charlotte. Blackouts are everything that’s wrong with this country
They are instead just copying MLB...however the issue is that there are wayyyy less games during a season.
If they just made every game quickly and easily available for like $3, they would make so much more money from me. Idk what the correct price number is for maximum sales, but I’d pay $3 per game.
You are 100000% right about using illegal streaming just being a simpler and better experience than any other method
Honestly fuck local or national TV, they should be the first league to go full digital
You can turn the autoplay function off in settings -> autoplay settings -> never. Hope that helps!
@@anthonyborremans2515 thanks :).
But its really stupid that autoplay is even possible
I have about the same issues here in Ohio when I try to watch a Cavs game I could watch literally anything else besides a Cavs game. Very rarely would I be able to watch. Their app is also very sensitive to many vpns including my hospital's, where I work so if I'm taking a break I can not watch the games either.
I’ve had the league pass channel on my tv for 5 years now and I genuinely don’t know if I have access to the app
Clippers just started their own independent Streaming Channel called Clipper Vision at the start of this season. A La Carte has begun
They encourage people to stream elsewhere
Long story short, thanks for making this video Rusty
that was happening to me . i found if i changed the broadcast audio the game would play.
yeah my app won’t even open for the past couple weeks
@@stevenmcmullen893 I'll give that a try thank you 👍🏼
Bulls fan in Australia here.
Thanks NBA!
It works now or nah?
It sucks, I keep getting served the same freaking Nissan commercial. SEND HELP!
League pass wouldn't play the lakers game for me yesterday and told me to watch it on cable because it's nationally televised. Went to go watch it on cable, and the network was blacked out in my area so it wasn't even playing on TV. Had to use stream east 🤦♂whats the point of league pass
Where do you stream, methstreams don't be working for me anymore
Regional locks are terrible in Canada. No one can watch Raptors games even if you're 12 hours away from Toronto. That's nowhere near local
I wish I could like this video a second time. The app is HORRIBLE on Xbox.
i can only imagine...ps over here and its tough
It’s so bad it should be illegal to sell.
Being in Canada is tough. Because you could be miles away from Toronto and still be blacked out as it is considered "local".
My favorite feature is when watching a game, it randomly signs me out so I have to resign back in to continue watching. Also my "local" teams are the nuggets and the suns. Both of which are 6 hours away. So anytime the mavericks play them I have to sail the high seas.
1000% agree. Such a big EFF YOU to paying fans!
I bought league pass a couple years ago and I live in Ontario canada, and not until after I got it did I realize EVERY GAME is blacked out in my area. It was just a highlight show and ads literally no games were available no watch for a week straight, I had to cancel my subscription
I would watch and buy basketball merch, but it's hard to watch my favorite team, so I can't be invested until playoff time
It really sucks!
Adam Silver should go be the CEO of Disney he Cleary cares about stuff like that more doesn't care about the quality.
I live in the middle of the country. League pass blocks out like 7 teams because they are "local" to me.
If you have NBA league pass and are trying to watch a blacked out game due to region:
1. Clear cache/data from league pass app
2. Tuen on a VPN from another country
3. Log into league pass
4. Once logged in, turn the VPN OFF (necessary because in my experience it won’t let you watch if your VPN is currently abroad)
I’ve been using this strategy to watch Warriors games in San Francisco.
The worst part is that this is the EXACT SAME PROBLEM in the MLB
For real it is sooo annoying. At least the NFL got it right ...
I’m just trying to imagine a froze image of Kyle kuzma while hearing the whopper whopper burger commercial 😂😂
At the beginning of the season whatever update they did from last year made it literally unusable for awhile. It was beyond shit
Damn it Rusty, your "LOL" popup ad made me interested in looking at it more than any other popup ad I've ever encountered.
My team is out of the blackout area. It works for me, but it used to be basically useless when I was living in my hometown.
Wow!!!
I also don't like the options to watch a game, such as watching home or away, it just follow one player and doesn't show offball
@@frumpyducky7403 Yeah that's bad that it's so poor this season.
Blackouts feel like a complete rip off. I would gladly pay for it but f that. It feels worthless
